Chapter 15

"I don't know if you remember me but my name is jake. I took care of you for many years when you were younger."

He took out his hand in a greeting gesture to which Anna took though she could not recall this man named jake. Jake was still talking to Anna though in her mind she could not hear a word he said all she heard were whispers of people in her mind but she could not understand what they were saying. Many were silently screaming in her mind others were angrily talking, some were coming as sobs of talk in her head.

Anna didn't know how long she had been listening to the whispers in her head but only when the man named jake touch her shoulder did she come back to reality.

"Anna did you hear me?"

"No, sorry could you say it again?"

"Yes, of course. I was saying we have to leave now to go back to your home planet in time."

"Ok, what about Nico? I refuse to leave in his hurt condition."

"Hurt condition. He doesn't look hurt to me. "

"He has cuts and he is bleeding how do-" Anna stop mid sentence when she remembered she had heal him. Mentally smacking her head, she shook her head then agreed to go with jake to her quarters. Jake look at her confused for a second then nodded got up and motion her to go with him to her quarters. When he was at the door he turn around and saw Anna had not moved from her position on the floor. She looked at him and asked "Where is Nico going to stay?"

"Guard have this boy to his own room and Andrew do you remember where your room is?"

Anna looked at Andrew shocked and confused how did he already have a room? Andrew simply nodded to Jake then left the room not a word to Anna or jake. Anna followed jake to her quarter on the way there, it was like a maze turn here, then here, then turn there, left, right, right, left. By the time Anna made it to her room she had no sense of direction as to how she got to her room. Jake didn't talk to her at all thru the entire journey to her room and she was thankful for that, she didn't want any small talk with him, only to recall what happened today.

Jake opened the door, peering inside she gasp it was amazing to anyone else it would have been normal size bed room but after sleeping on hard cement floors this was paradise. She stood there amazed when she went in, she went straight to the bed feeling it as if she never seen one before. Then she went to the dresser looking inside nothing was there.

"Think of a shirt and it will appear in the dresser."

She nodded and thought of shirt she had seen once in store that she like a lot. Within seconds the shirt appeared in the dresser. Gasping she thought it not real but she quickly got over that and went to the bathroom, she look at the mirror a reflection of herself was presented to her. Her long brown hair, dark brown eyes like the ground it self,and a tall stature. She knew not how long it has been since she saw herself. Anna went back outside, jake was still at the door leaning against the frame.

"Do you have anyone you would like to say goodbye to before we set off?" Jake asked

Without a second thought Anna replied
"No"

"Ok then get a good sleep we should arrive at our destination in three days time"

"Okay"

"If you get hungry the cafeteria is down the hall then it will be the double doors on the left."

"Thank you "

Great more doors. With that said jake left and closed the door behind him. Anna just stood there looking thru the window, looking how the waves of the ocean would still flow even if everything around it would be falling apart. After her moment of thought she went to rinse herself free of today's events. When done she went to bed thinking she would have a good sleep for once but it most opposite.

She dreamt herself falling and everything around her was misery and pain. All the people hold their hands out to her as if she could end all the bad in the world.Then she stop abruptly it was as if she was standing but her feet felt nothing. Yet she stood as if she was standing normally on the floor. All around her was dark, she did a full 360 turn but could not see nothing thru the darkness. A light appeared only it was as small as a period at the end of the sentence. She couldn't take her eyes off the flame it was as if anything else in the world didn't matter only this dot of a flame. The flame surround her it look like a thin line surround her, dots of flame.

Still rooted to the spot, the thin line came to her fast as if all the dots wanted to get to her first. The thin line came at cheetah speed, growing in height as it grew closer. As soon as it was in arm length it was Empire State Building high and the heat was as if she was on the sun. It came for her only now did she realize their was no escape, no where to run, she was to burn. The flame touch her, she woke up with a scream escaping her lips. Her cloths were sweat covered, her heart was pounding trying to escape.
