Chapter 19

Walking thru the forest to the place Kyle was bringing us, Kyle navigated like he has been here multiple times before. We kept walking until we reached a building. Looking beyond the building a city bubbled with energy. The building it self was about half the height of the Empire State Building and the looks of a normal office building. Inside though was the opposite,inside hold secrets that none of the public knew, weapons, bombs, captured enemies, and classified information that if you knew they would have to kill you.

"Follow me" Kyle said

"What do you think I'm doing?!" Nico snapped

Kyle turn around at the speed of light and he walked forward to Nico, Kyle eyes were solid black color. His walk was murder intended, Anna saw this and step in front of Kyle midway. As soon as she was going to speak Kyle hand went up and to the left. Anna body did the same she went flying thru the air.The tree blocked her from going further in the air.

"What your problem man!" Nico said

Kyle let out a monstrous roar and advanced toward Nico in an unearthly speed. Nico no longer stood idle as he too ran toward Kyle while at the same time a fire sword formed in both of his hands. Grunting from the pain in her shoulders and back she looked to the chaos in front of her both Nico and Kyle were fighting to the max. Kyle eyes she observed were the same as when Andrew attacked her at the ship, the solid black color.

Nico fell to the ground that's was enough for Anna as she scrambled to get to the fight cause Kyle next attack was for the kill. She was too far but Anna still ran thru the forest at her top speed. Anna knew she wouldn't make it in time Kyle sword was already descending. She focused her mind to the sword in Kyle hand, using her mind she hold it there mere inches from Nico heart. Sweat started to form on her forehead but she still ran and hold on to the sword. It wasn't easy Kyle pushed down on the sword so hard that while she was running she stumbled from the pressure Kyle was putting on.

Getting back to her feet Anna sprinted the last few feet. Seeing Nico she saw his leg was broken and the sword was getting nearer to his heart blood was already drawing. Using her last bit of strength she ran to Kyle, he was so focused on that sword everything else around him didn't matter. Anna used that to her advantage swinging her leg to Kyle side she was surprised when he actually fell, she didn't think it was going to be that easy.

Kyle eyes changed the moment Anna leg connected to his side. When he was attacking Nico he didn't feel like he was there just observing thru a window. His actions weren't his own it was someone else, someone was controlling him. Kyle still felt as if he wasn't there, his body was motionless on the grass. Nico leg hurt, it hurt a lot. His leg was in a weird angle and he had cuts on his arms and where his heart was. Anna came running up to Nico as he just laid there feeling the pain and looking to the sky.

Anna reached Nico sliding to her knees she viewed all the cuts and his leg. She moved her hand to the cut on his heart in seconds it was healed. She managed to get all the other cuts heal but his leg had to stay as it was cause that required strength she didn't have at the moment.

"Thank you" Nico said in a breathless tone

"It was nothing but your welcome." Anna said

Her eyes darted to Kyle motionless body on the grass. Her curiosity got the best of her as she got up to go see kyle. Nico hand grabbed her arm Anna turned her head to him, he said
"What are you doing?"

"Going go see him"

Nico searched her eyes searching for a answer to why she would want to do that after all he did already. His grip loosen and he said with a sigh

"Be careful"

"Always am" she said with a smile then moved over to Kyle body. Taking caution she slowly moved over ready if he attacked again. No attack came when she reached his body Anna rolled him over to his back. He looked life less, the color of his skin was pale and his eyes closed. Damn was my kick that hard! She put her ear to where his heart was, his heart was a slow but steady beat. He was still alive, Kyle on the other hand still felt like he was looking thru a window. He couldn't figure out why Anna be there helping him when he almost killed both of them. When she put her ear to his heart, Kyle felt his presence was finally setting back into his body.
