Chapter 17

"No!" Said Nico

Running to the door, someone was holding him back. Struggling to get free from his capture, his mind replayed the scene over and over again. He was taught to keep his anger controlled but today was not that day. Swinging his arm around it collided with the capture jaw. He was free, running to the door he looked down his eyes searching for her, nothing. Looking back to where his capture was, its andrew. He saw him standing up holding onto his jaw.

Pointing his finger to him Nico yelled "This is your fault, if you didn't hold onto me I would have saved her!"

Running up to him Nico kneed him in the stomach then punched Andrew in the nose. Andrew fell to the floor not expecting the punch to hurt that much. Nico grabbed Andrew by the shirt and lifted him from the ground. All in matter of minutes Andrew was slam into the closest wall with blood flowing from his nose.

"I know you did this, Anna was fine this morning. You caused this to happen. Hope you realized what you did, if I find her died, you will die as well." Giving as much menace into his voice as he could then he threw Andrew body to the floor.

Taking a few steps back, then looking to the door he ran to it full speed. When he got to the door he did a swimmer dive out the door. The wind grabbed at his clothes and his skin. He didn't care, his mission was to save Anna. The air in the sky was a refresher even though he was free falling to the ground he was glad he was out of that ship. A human body was a few feet below where he was, motioning his body to fall faster. He was by the body, it was Anna.Holding her body in his arms, her eyes opened.

"Nico you were to let me go, only I was to fall not you"

"No I won't see that happen"

With a smile from Anna, they fell together to the ground beneath them.

His whole body hurt, what Nico said to him hurt more then the physical pain he was in now. He knew Nico was right but fought to not believe it. The pain was getting to him, the people around him were blurry. The sound of their words were lost by the ringing in his ears.

The girl to his left yelled "I need a medic"

The people around him no longer were blurry but they were getting darker, it as if the darkness wanted to overcome him. He moved his head towards the door, that's when he black out.

"Andrew, Andrew, he out!" The same girl said

Jake look to Kyle their eyes in deep conversation but neither one spoke a word. In their head was a conversation both reading each other mind.

Jake-KYLE I told you letting that vermin in with Anna was a big mistake! Now look at Andrew state!
Kyle- Hey back up a minute you were the one who let the elite group go I had nothing to do with this.
Jake- Why did I let you talk me into letting Nico onboard!
Kyle- Cause he is a resource. He known the rebels, the bases, where the leader is.
Jake- Fine. What's the plan?
Kyle- Way ahead of you. See you at the planet.

At that Kyle gave jake a smirk then turn to the door. Kyle himself is a professional skydiver. He jumped out of the ship, using the wind as a advance he sped to Anna and Nico. Upon seeing them Kyle readied himself for transport. The energy bubbled inside him wanting to be used. Anna was first to see him, she pointed to him then Nico too looked to him. Only Nico reaction was tense, preparing himself if an attack came.

Reaching them he could no longer hold the energy inside him, Holding onto their shoulders with a tight grip, Kyle let the engery surge forward. Transporting was as if someone was pulling their insides out and weren't satisfied then forcefully threw it back in. The landing could have been better but with three people it was tiring. Kyle was as pale as a ghost, he was already tried from the first trip to get him to the ship then this. It was a blow to face to him. Two transport trips in less than a hour.

Anna and Nico were no better Anna being the worst, she has never experienced transporting. Kyle made sure to land close to the building he and Jake work at but not to close that it brings attention. They were in the opening of the forest closets to the east side of the building. Kyle moved to the nearest tree and let them collect themselves before going into the building.

Meanwhile in Rbase-7-19 (rebel base Seven, room 19. The "tech" room)

"Ryan we have analyzed the data of the girl and boy that were in that house. The boy name is Andrew Haze, age 17 and he is a solider/agent for our enemies."

"And the girl"

"The girl is strange here it says her mother had died at birth, yet she use to live with her mother and father until the age of sixteen."

"Her name"

"Anna but I have yet to get her last name. Her so called parents last name doesn't go with her name. They had two kids, Anna not being one of them"

Excitement mix with curiosity grip Ryan heart. He thought could this be her, his daughter. His facial expression showed opposite, like he didn't care on the outside.

"How old is she?"

"Let me check. Ah okay here it says she is seventeen."

Even more curiosity surged he body but he hushed it down, they have had false calls before.

"Can you find her last name?"

"Yes but give me a minute."

The guy at the computer, Lopez, started putting in codes so fast that his fingers were a blur. The screen that shined green grew longer, with every code Lopez put in the page seemed to grow twice it's size.

"Hold on, I almost have it"

Ryan started to pace behind Lopez chair, looking to the screen then the clock. Over and over again he did this until Lopez said.

"Just have to type this last number and we should know the last name"

"Do it"

He put the number, all the codes he put in vanished. The name started to show up but that's when the computer screen flash <system failure>. The computer crashed right in front of Ryan eyes but he could still remember the beginning of the last name 'Ru'.

"Get that up and running no later then tomorrow evening, got it"

"Yes sir."

Ryan heart clenched as he thought of Anna, I lost your mom I won't lose you. You are far but I feel as if you were close. Don't worry I will find you and never let go again.
