Chapter 15- Gaara confirmation and realization

Team 7 arrived finally arrived in front of Konoha's gates where the two guards at the gates let them in. They immediately went to the Hokage tower to report their mission. When they entered the tower, they saw their current Hokage in charge Tsunade, and the third Hokage Hiruzen inside the office Tsunade holding a letter in her hand. The two Hokage's heard the door open and saw that Team 7 had entered the office back from their mission.

"Hello Team 7 it seems like you're back from your mission." said Tsunade standing up from her seat and walking in front of her desk, Hiruzen stood next to her in front of the Hokage desk.

"We're back baa-chan! Jii-san you're also here!" said Naruto.

"Chuckles* I am Naruto. It seems like you're not really tired from your long trip from the Hidden Cloud and back. Energetic as ever I see." said Hiruzen.

"You know Naruto has a lot of energy lord third." said Kakashi.

"Indeed Kakashi. But he's better when he's energetic and full of energy." said Hiruzen.

"I have a lot of energy so I can work hard and become Hokage one day dattebayo!" said Naruto cheerfully.

"Chuckles* If you have so much energy then I guess that means you're not injured or hurt in anyway?" questioned Hiruzen.

"I can assure you he's not hurt in anyway lord third." said Kakashi sweat dropping.

'I hope nothing happened when he and Sakusa slept outside in the woods. Lord third and Iruka will flip the whole village upside down because of how much they love and adore Naruto. Last time when we thought he was lost, just the thought of it also brought trouble to us just thinking about it. Even the enemy aka Zabuza who was also scared hearing lord third's wrath if anything happened to Naruto. If something did happen, I hope that the nine tails healed it since they became friends and I hope that if something did happen, Naruto might not bring it up. Oh god I'm stupid what was I even hoping for? Naruto's an honest kid, he especial wouldn't lie to lord third.'  thought Kakashi. Kakashi looked over to Yamato the both of them making eye contact and both of them were sweating. Hiruzen walked passed Kakashi and Yamato then he stopped in front of Naruto and put his hand on Naruto's shoulder.

"Did you get hurt on the mission Naruto?" asked Hiruzen.

"Hm, nope. I didn't get hurt on the mission." answered Naruto.

'Phew.'  Kakashi and Yamato mentally said wiping off sweat from their forehead.

"But," started Naruto.

Kakashi and Yamato immediately froze on the spot.

"But what Naruto?" questioned Hiruzen looking at Kakashi and Yamato smiling 'kindly'.

'We're so dead. Something might've happened when Naruto and Sakusa were sleeping outside. They could've gotten attacked in the middle of the night.'  thought Kakashi and Yamato sweat dropping.

"I nearly got hurt or possibly died when we got attacked by a group of rouge shinobis. Luckily, Sakusa saved me by rushing in front of me." continued Naruto.

'Phew. Double saved.'  thought Kakashi and Yamato.

"Oh is that so? Thank you Sakusa for saving Naruto, he's really precious to me, he's like my grandson to me. I'll pay you back one day." Hiruzen thanked Sakusa.

"No no no it's ok lord third. You don't need to pay me back, he's precious to me as well." said Sakusa.

"Who saved Naruto?" said a familiar voice outside the door.

The door opened and it revealed the sand siblings. The voice belonged to the new Kazekage Gaara. Gaara considers Naruto as a brother, just like how Naruto considers Gaara as a brother as well since they both know a familiar pain as fellow jinchurikis.
