Chapter 17- How 'bout we hang out? Call it a date

Sakusa POV*

After Gaara left the forest, I sat down underneath a tree relaxing. I'm a little tired after the mission since we didn't really get to rest, I just went to hang out with Naruto and the others, it technically counts like a day off after a mission but it's still a little tiring, it was definitely worth it though. It's probably about 12PM right now, we arrived back at Konoha quite early in the morning. God thinking back about when we were reporting the mission makes me wanna laugh out loud, there's no one here so I could but I don't want to disturb someone if there is someone here or I might disturb an animal and possibly get attacked. I'm not like Naruto, Naruto attracts things and people getting him unnecessary attention, I noticed that at the mission, the rouge Mist nin didn't attack him because he was the closest or something like that, he attacked him first because he stood out the most attracting him attention towards him. It was unnecessary attention, he would've gotten killed, that's the case if the one that was getting attracted was a human being, for animals it's an 85 percent that they will not attack him but become friends with him, even a devil like the daimyo's wife's cat Tora, I had to go catch her once and I got scratched, apparently it was a different story for Naruto, the cat didn't hurt him. But still unnecessary attention. Kakashi-sensei and Yamato-taichou immediately froze when lord third asked if he was hurt, they know how much lord third cherishes Naruto. Iruka as well, I know he loves Naruto a lot, Kakahsi is dating Iruka so that could lead to something bad if he was hurt but he would probably understand.

I continued to relax underneath the tree but then, I wouldn't relax peacefully because I heard two voices, it seems like an argument is happening in the forest right now. Then, it hit me, I realized that one of the voices belonged to Naruto. The other voice belonged to a female, then I recognized that it was Sakura's voice. 

It seems like they're arguing from what I'm hearing, I can't hear the argument clearly yet since I'm still quite far away, I could only pick up a few words like 'dumb' 'flirting' 'blind' 'patient' 'relationship' and my name 'Sakusa' . I finally made it to where the argument was then I heard.

"Yeah so what Sakura-chan? I was chasing after you when we were younger and I still had feelings for you but you lied, you lied to me. You didn't truly undertsnad me like Sakusa did, you said you'll heal my wounds but instead created some. You're not patient with me like how Sakusa is, sometimes you make me feel like you were just playing with me." said Naruto a few tears falling down his face.

This b*tch made him cry, I saw only one colour, red. Red was everywhere in sight. His eyes looks more dull, it was never completed before anyways. I was angry, really angry. She got a chance with him and now he's crying saying she made him hurt and he's saying that he feels like she's just playing with him. She even lied to him! Not like I can say anything....it depends on what she lied to him about. I guess if he's comparing me to her than if means that he.....likes me? Well at least that's a good sign. Then I heard the b*tch say,

"You know what!? Break up. It's over. Bye Naruto." said the b*tch then she just walked away leaving him there.

I guess this is my chance then.

"Naruto!" shouted a voice.

Naruto turned to where it came from and saw that it was Sakusa. Sakusa rushed to Naruto's side immediately. Naruto quickly wiped his tears and looked at Sakusa.

"What are you doing here?" asked Naruto.

"Oh, I was just going for a walk. I saw what happened between you and the b*tch. Are you ok Naruto" said Sakusa his eyes full of anger and worry.

"Oh-uh, I'm fine-huh?" said Naruto confused, he was suddenly embraced in a hug by Sakusa.

"Don't lie Naruto. When you lie, the only person you're gonna hurt is yourself. I can tell that you loved her." said Sakusa his voice filled with warmth.

"I-I loved her, but she lied and left me." said Naruto his voice filled with sadness.

"Shhhh it's ok." said Sakusa ruffling Naruto's hair.

"Thanks Sasuke-oh sorry I meant Sakusa. It's just every time when I'm stressed, angry or sad he would ruffle my hair because he knows it calms me down. His touch was gentle like you as well." said Naruto.

"It's ok. I'm guessing you liked this Sasuke guy a lot. But, I can't help but think he's also a bit of an a**hole." said Sakusa.

"Well, not really." said Naruto.

"So, are you still sad?" asked Sakusa looking into Naruto's eyes.

"Honestly, kind of. It's just that I did truly love her. It's not easy to get rid of feelings for someone." said Naruto.

"Yeah it really isn't." Sakusa agreed.

"Huh? Did you once date someone?" asked Naruto.

"Yeah I did. It didn't really end well. I never dated anyone else after that relationship. I never flirted with anyone else or have any eyes for anyone else after that relationship so your special to me since I have eyes for you Naruto. I guess I just fell in love with you the first time I saw you, that was when I first had eyes for you." explained Sakusa.

Naruto's cheeks turned red.

"Anyways, you said you were still a little bit sad from what happened between you and the b*tch right?" asked Sakusa trying to confirm what Naruto said because Naruto might have changed his mind or he's feeling better now, he changes moods quite easily most of the time.

"Yeah? Also, isn't caller her a b*tch a bit too much?" replied Naruto questioning Sakusa about why he asked that.

"No she totally deserved that. Also, I have an idea to make you feel better!" said Sakusa.

"What's your idea?" asked Naruto.

"How 'bout we hang out? Call it a date"
