His eyes shine again(Book 2)

Chapter 5- Family is always first

Sasuke woke up and went to where the kitchen was, he remembered the way that Jugo showed him the day before. He went into the kitchen and smiled the scent of ramen noodles in the air. The first thing that came through his mind was the name 'Naruto'. He went into the kitchen and saw a female with red hair, red eyes and wearing glasses eating her ramen. Sasuke was disappointed? He doesn't even know what he was feeling. 'It's not Naruto. it's the red haired girl Jugo said. What's her name again? Karin? Oh yeah it was. He told me not to approach her but, she doesn't seem bad. Seeing her eating ramen reminds me of......him.......Naruto'  thought Sasuke. Karin looked up and saw Sasake and locked eyes with him which made Sasuke swear that he saw her glare at him with.....anger? Then Karin ignored him an continued eating her ramen. 'Did she just glare at me angrily? Why though? Maybe she's just like that so Jugo told me to not approach her. Maybe she's just like fire(cough* Kushina cough*). Damn, I want to eat ramen just looking at her eat and thinking about Naruto. I don't know where they keep ramen though. Jugo was probably just warning me about her attitude. She can't be that bad.'  thought Sasuke.

"Hey." said Sasuke.

No response from the red haired female who ignored him and continued eating her ramen.

"Hey......HEY!" Sasuke repeated louder every time.

A tic mark appeared on Karin's forehead as she slammed the table and stood up glaring at him with anger in her eyes.

"What!?" said Karin her tone saying she doesn't want to talk to him but Sasuke did not get the hint.

"Um, where do you guys keep the ramen cups?" asked Sasuke.

Karin's skin turned red quick, it was so red it could rival her firery red hair and eyes.

"YOU LITTLE SH*T! You think you could have a perfect life obtaining power and revenge while my kin is depressed where he is!" shouted Karin with an angry tone.

Jugo and Suigetsu ran into the kitchen hearing Karin shout.

"You're kin? I don't anyone from your clan. I don't even know your clan name." replied Sasuke clueless.

"I'm talking about my little cousin! The one that became depressed because of you! The one you broke ties with! The one you left!" shouted Karin.

Sasuke's eyes widened listening to what Karin was saying, 'Does she mean!?' thought Sasuke.

"I'm talking about my little cousin Uzumaki Naruto you little sh*t! I'll let you know I'm Uzumaki Karin a**hole!" shouted Karin.

"Tch. So what? It has nothing to do with you." said Sasuke.

"You little!" shouted Karin while Suigetsu and Jugo hold her back from attacking Sasuke.

"Why would you care?" asked Sasuke.

Karin somehow slipped out of Jugo and Suigetsu's hold and rushed to Sasuke grabbing him by the collar. 

"You little here. I'll tell you my clan rules, family is always first! Our strange chakra could also help us sense our kin's chakra which reflects on one's soul and emotions as well. I feel Uzumaki chakra from him and it's not so good and the cause is the a**hole in front of me right now. Even if someone's not from our clan, they should all know that family is important." said Karin.

"Hn, you're right. Family is important. That's why I left to avenge my family the Uchihas." replied Sasuke taking Karin's hands off his collar then he started to walk away.

"But, isn't he family to you?" asked Karin which made Sasuke stop in his tracks.

"What do you mean by that?" asked Sasuke.

"As I said before, Uzumakis can feel their kin's chakra which also felt different to us than any other person's so when I was little, I could feel he was alive and his chakra felt happy and warm. Orochimaru showed me what was happening with a jutsu which let me see what was happening. He was happy, so were you. You guys were like a happy family even though you weren't related. It's the bond that counts. You treated him like family too, you loved him and he loved you as well. So he's apart of your life, your family. He might not be related by blood but judging by your chakra, the things I'm telling you are making you hurt because of all the times you spent with him. Am I correct. He's family to you. You said it yourself family is always first." said Karin.

"I have no idea what you're talking about. I broke all ties with him and my feelings towards him are gone." replied Sasuke.

"Why you!......You know what, it doesn't matter actually. He deserves better than someone like you. Plus, the pink haired girl is already healing his wounds created by you. He'll be better with her." said Karin then she walked away.

Jugo and Suigetsu also left leaving Sasuke alone in the kitchen.  Sasuke sat down in a seat quickly got lost in his train of thoughts. 'Family huh? Damn, it hurts. Every time I think about the word family, an image from my brain shows up and he's in the image..........Naruto's in the image smiling happily.'  thought Sasuke a single tear falling from his eye.
