Chapter 18- Feelings of warmth

"W-wait, date?" said Naruto his face heating up and turning into a light shade of pink.

'Wait, why am I even blushing? Does that mean that Sakura was right? Do i really like him? I thought that it was just an excuse for the way I've been acting around Sakusa but, now I've realized it and I wonder, why do I feel this way towards him?' thought Naruto.

"Well, I'd like to call it a date if you don't mind." said Sakusa rubbing the back of his head.

"Sure!" replied Naruto happily smiling.

"Alright then, where do you wanna go?" asked Sakusa looking at Naruto.

"Hm, I'm not sure. Do you have any suggestions since it was your idea?" asked Naruto.

"Well I'm not really sure since my only plan was to cheer you up. I didn't think about where we should go." answered Sakusa honestly.

"Pft-you should probably think about things before you suggest themso you don't get stuck about what happens next after that. And I thought you were smart Sakusa." said Naruto laughing.

"Hey! I am smart. You're the one to talk when you do that as well." said Sakusa with a sly smrik.

"Do not!"

"Do too."

"Do not!"

"Do too."

"Do not."

"Do too-wait damn you trick me!" shouted Naruto puffing his cheeks.

Sakusa started chuckling.

"You look cute when you puff your cheeks Naruto." commented Sakusa wiping an invisible tear of his face.

"I am not cute!" said Naruto pouting.

"You are. Anyways, we're getting off track here. It's good that you're not worrying or thinking about the bubblegum banshee but there's no way I'm letting a date with you go to waste or pass it." said Sakusa.

"Alright then have you figured out where we should go then?" asked Naruto.

"Hm, let's go to the park. I heard that it got repaired and right now the ice-cream from the ice-cream truck there are on sale. Bye two get a little charm." said Sakusa.

"Alright then let's go!" said Naruto grabbing Sakusa's arm and dragging him to the park.

"Wait slow down there's no need to rush Naruto. There ice-creams aren't going anywhere." said Sakusa chuckling.

"No! I really want to get a charm." said Naruto.

Time skip*

The two made it to the park and saw that Kakashi and Yamato were selling the ice-creams. The two of them looked very miserable like they dragged into doing this. Sakusa and Naruto walked up to Kakashi and Yamato.

"Kakashi-sensei! Yamato-taichou! What are you guys doing?" asked Naruto.

"We have to sell ice-creams since something nearly happened in our last mission." answered Kakashi.

"Come on Kakashi-senpai it's not that bad-I lied it is bad." said Yamato.

"Anyways what are you two doing here?" asked Kakashi.

"Well the b*tch lied and left Naruto so I'm taking Naruto on a date to cheer him up." replied Sakusa.

"Hm, well that's sad but isn't calling her a b*tch a little too much Sakusa?" asked Kakashi.

"Tch, I don't regret calling her that. She made Naruto cry and lied to him." said Sakusa.

"Anyways how about we forget about bad things. Do you two want to buy some ice-creams?" asked Yamato.

"Yeah. Naruto what flavor do you want?" asked Sakusa turning to Naruto.

"Chocolate!" replied Naruto.

"Can I get two choclate ice-creams?" asked Sakusa.

"Ok two chocolate ice-creams coming. Also since you two bought two ice-creams you guys get a charm. I'll give you guys two though, I'll give both of them to Sakusa." said Kakashi.

Kakashi came back with two chocolate ice-creams in his hand, and he handed one each to Naruto and Sakusa then, he reached into his pocket and gave two charms to Sakusa but Naruto did not see.

"Hey! Why does Sakusa get both of the charms!?" asked Naruto.

"I can't answer that but I'm sure Sakusa would want them." said Kakashi then he walked away.

Naruto's POV

Every time I'm around Sakusa, I can feel my heart my heart beat louder and faster, every time he gets close to me I can feel a feeling that I once loved so much......warmth. I felt warm whenever he was around, it was like the feeling when I first meet my older cousin Karin. Apparently family members can recognize other family members by the feeling of warmth around them. It was also a feeling that I once felt around my ex-lover Uchiha Sasuke. Uchiha Sasuke brought methe feeling of warmth before he left, now, I feels the same warmth around the Sakusa.

Is there something wrong with me? I react every time when he's around, it feels like I've met him before and like I truly love him even though we've just met. Wait, how do I even know that I love him? Maybe because it's the warmness that makes me feel safe and comfortable. He was patient and always there for me, he made me feel happy like how Sasuke once did. He honestly sometimes remind me of the raven haired Uchiha. His gentle hands, the way he understands me and the way he sticks up for me, it's like when Sasuke once did when we were still at the academy.

After, Sakusa and Naruto went to a few shops because Sakusa wanted to buy a few things. Naruto knew that Sakusa bought string from one of the shops but he doesn't know the other things Sakusa bought. They continued to walk around and talk with each other then Naruto's stomach stated to rumble.

"Chuckles* Looks like you're hungry." said Sakusa chuckling.

"Yeah." said Naruto embarrassed.

"You honestly look cute when you're embarrassed." said Sakusa.

"Oh hey guys!" said a voice.
