Chapter 22: What is She Planning?

"Hello Duskflower." Said Berrytail mischievously.

"What do you want?! Just leave me alone!"

"I'm afraid that I can't, don't worry you won't have to worry about anything anymore."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You'll find out soon."

"Stop being all mysterious, just leave!"

"You are just too funny."

"Aaah just let me go back."

"Wait wait, I just wanted to check in on the crazy leader and thought about you."

"Stormstar is not crazy!"

"Aww how cute, let's not waste time. I just wanted to see you that's all."

"Berrytail, I know you, that's not the only reason why."

Berrytail chose to ignore her and continue talking.

"Darling, I have to go but I will see you sooner then you think."

"First don't call me darling, second no you won't see me soon!"

"You amuse me so much, but I really have to go. LightningClan won't be destroyed without lots of preparation."

"You will not destroy my Clan."

Berrytail gave her a flying kiss and suddenly she was disappeared. Duskflower was surprised to see that it was morning already.

Wait, it was night when Berrytail came and we barely talked for 10 minutes. What's going on?

Duskflower decided to talk to Hazelwind about the visit. She found Hazelwind in a discussion or more like a debate with Whitefang.

"No, I won't go to the Moonstone! Stormstar is still the leader."

"We both know that he is a strong leader but he's not capable to be our leader anymore."

"Whitefang kindly leave and go for the morning patrol."

Whitefang mumbled something but he hurried off. Duskflower decided to approach the stressed brown she-cat.

"Hi Hazelwind."

"Oh, good morning Duskflower."

"I just wanted to talk to you."

"Is it important because I have a few things to do."

"It's important, it's about Berrytail."

"Oh of course we can talk, can we meet in a more private place."

"Near the river?"

"Sure, let's go."

The two she-cats walked across camp to the river. Luckily no other cats were near.

"So yesterday night Berrytail appeared in front of camp as a spirit and talked to me."

  Duskflower explained what had happened and Hazelwind patiently listened, occasionally making confused or angry faces.

"Thank you for telling me but I don't understand what exactly she's going to do."

"Well she wants to destroy our Clan and for that she is planning something. The only thing I'm confused is how is she going to even destroy us. She's a spirit right and she cannot touch us and not every cat can see her."

"Hmmm...I need to discuss with Stormstar but he will just get more stressed and make the recovery longer. Duskflower, can I take a while to think and then get back to you."
