Duskflower's Story

Chapter 13: The Gathering

Authors Note: This chapter is not gonna mention Berrytail, just a side note. Ok continue ^_^

The very next day Duskflower woke up early to go for the Dawn Patrol. Nothing much happened there except Fallsplash and Blossomflight shooted her very angry looks and in return she "accidentally" pushed them down the river. 

  When she came back she saw her sister and her sister's moony lover soaked which gave her a sense of satisfaction. To her joy Mousetail scolded her saying "It's almost leaf-bare and you both wanted to have a soak in the river. I expected more from you."

"It wasn't our fault. Duskflower pushe-"

"Don't make excuses."

"Sorry Moustail."

"Sorry fills no bellies. Now go see Tansyleaf and ask her what to do."

As they passed Duskflower they shot her a growl and walked on. Duskflower was laughing so much she didn't notice Mossflame coming behind her.

"So they just fell in the river like that?"

"Oh hello, oh yes they did."

"And I assume you quite enjoyed that accident."

"Very much so."

Mossflame chuckled and started walking and beckoned Duskflower to follow.

"So where are we going?" She asked. 

"Just in the forest. We can hunt and you can tell me all about our littermates falling into the river."

"So....how are things with Primrosepetal?

"Well I told her that I liked her and she said the same but she wanted to take things slow."

"That's great!"

"I know. Anyway about that river incident."

"Ok...ok...well they were glaring at me and whispering about me so when both of them went to go drink water I may have slightly pushed her, then she grabbed on Fallsplash and both fell down."

"You slightly pushed her?"

"Yes."

"Sure.."

"What? I'm telling the truth."

Mossflame quickly saw a huge pigeon and pounced and killed it.

"Good catch. Bury it and we can pick it up later."

They walked ahead towards the river.

"As much as I enjoyed that story, I really think you should make up with your sister."

"Never going to happen. She made that very clear."

"I bet you both will make up very soon."

"Yup, without a doubt." She said. 

"I'm not kidding. Anyway, do you think Stormstar will take you for the Gathering tonight."

"I completely forgot, the last Gathering when Branchstar introduced us as warriors was not so pleasant after the whole Joystripe is evil thing."

"Well I don't think he bought the whole accident, he was your mentor."

"Hmm..I don't really mind not going so I guess its fine."

"Leafwind and Stormstar keep on telling my littermates and I to be on our best behavior."

"Why don't we get back now? I wanted to go and see how Crystallight and Rosevine are."
