                                                                A Half-Moon Later

                                                                       ______

Duskflower woke up panting but she didn't know why. She got out of her nest and woke outside to get some fresh air and to recollect her thoughts. After hearing about Joystripe she couldn't sleep well because she was terrified he would do something to her. Afterall she was the one who got him banished.

She remembered her dream suddenly. In her dream she was remarking the borders near ThunderClan and out of no where Joystripe popped out, covered with blood and dirt. He smiled and clawed and killed her.

She decided to go back inside and try and sleep because the day before Hazelwind said she looked tired so she had to take rest instead of going for a Border Patrol. She tossed and turned for a long time but in the end she did get some sleep.

In the morning she woke up quickly and went to Hazelwind for the patrols.

"Duskflower, you can lead the Border Patrol at Sunset and for now you can join Moonshine's Hunting Patrol."

"Thank you Hazelwind."

She left and found Moonshine and a few other cats waiting on the bottom of the Lightning Path.

"Ah, Duskflower come quick we need to leave soon."

"Am I the last cat to come."

"No no, Hailstorm is coming soon too."

Great, Hailstorm. Its like no matter how much I try to avoid him he keeps coming.

Hailstorm soon came and they set off. Along with Moonshine, Hailstorm and herself, Dawncloud, Nectargaze and Whitefang were also there.

"Let's go over to the Great Willow Tree, there must be many mice there." Said Moonshine.

Duskflower walked with Nectargaze and luckily Nectargaze wasn't a very talkative cat so they both walked in silence.

When they reached the Great Willow Tree there were many mice hiding underneath. All of them caught at least two mice each. They burried the mice and moved along.

"Good thinking Moonshine." Said Dawncloud.

"Thanks. Now let's move towards the Tall Grasses."

"Isn't it better to go in the river , we can get a lot of prey there and its really close by." Argued Hailstorm.

"But we can get more prey in the Tall Grasses and the fish might go bad in the Sun." Said Moonshine patiently.

"The Tall Grasses are home to many snakes." He said raising his voice.

"That is enought Hailstorm, Moonshine is in charge and there haven't been a single snake sight since last last leaf-bare." Said Whitefang.

"Now let's move quickly."

They reached the Tall Grasses and found a wide variety of birds, squirrels and vole. They caught enough prey and all of them took their prey and brought it back into camp. Moonshine, Dovecloud and Whitefang went back to The Great Willow Tree to collect the mice.

When she went to the dirtplace she was quickly kicked on the head by a ginger and white tom and feel down unconscious. The mystery tom took her to the back of the dirtplace and quickly dragged her.

She woke up a bit after they reached a cave behind a waterfall. The mystery cat wasn't there. She looked around and saw a quite tidy place. There were two nests and many herbs hanging around the cave. When she looked down she saw a huge waterfall. She quickly heard a sound and saw a black and white she-cat come inside.
