On Monday, Maddie was sharing pictures of the dress she had gotten for the dance.

"Maddie, why did you get the dress now? The dance is like a month and a half away." Cora said, amiring the dress.

"Well, I wanted to make sure Sam got a good one." Maddie said, with a devilish smile.

"Why?" Cora asked, her gaze wasn't on the phone, but something behind Sam. Sam turned her head to see Cole was coming in. Sam turned back to Cora. Sam poked her.

"Someone's got a crush." Sam joked, smiling.

"I do not!" Cora said, blushing. Maddie giggled. Cora held her breath for a second, and Sam turned to see Cole was right behind her.

"Oh, hey Cole." Sam greeted, smiling. Cole gave Sam a handsome smile.

"Hey, Sam. I know the dance is far off, but I was wondering if you would go to the dance with me?" Cole asked, and Sam stood there frozen. Maddie had to answer for her.

"She would love to!" Maddie said, elbowing Sam. Who winced and glared at Maddie.

"Yeah, that would be great." Sam said, smiling. Cole nodded, smiling again, before walking away. The whole team started to fan girl. All but Cora who wore a slight hateful glare. Sam totally forgot that she wanted to ask him. Sam had just taken the dance from her. Sam was about to say sorry, but Cora walked off.

Sam sighed, and went to the locker room. Getting her stuff. She heard the highschool coach rip out Cole for being here and not in the weight room. Sam also heard a slight sob.

Sam blindly went towards it, and it wasn't Cora. Cora's locker was completely empty. It was a girl she didn't know. Sam was concerned, she approched the sobing girl.

"Hello?" Sam asked, kneeling in front of the girl. The girl looked up, and she wipped away the tears.

        "Hello." The girl said.

        "You okay, miss?" Sam asked.

The girl shoke her head. "It's fine, and my name is Mckayla."

"Hey, I'm Sam." Sam said, sitting down this time. "What's wrong?" Sam asked, not believeing the crying girl, Mckayla.

"Just some troubles. I just needed a few moments." Mckayla said, putting on the smile. Sam nodded, she totally understood what Mckayla said.

Samm stood up and helped Mckayla up. "Do you do to this school?"

"No, I'm homeschooled. This is my first school sport." Mckayla said.

Sam nodded. "Have fun with him." Sam said, she had track shoes on, so she was in the track team. "Synder can be a pain." Sam said, before going to her locker getting her stuff.

"He's not so bad." Mckayla said, to his defense. Sam shrugged, she slipped on her sweats and other shoes. Sam headed out into the car to see Lily was waiting for her. When she hopped in the car, Lily wore a very cheerful smile.

"Mom and Dad aren't gonna be home. They went out tonight."

Sam smiled, and sighed. "Pizza." Sam said, turning the heat up. Lily nodded and drove home.
