Sam woke up on Monday, it was early February. Her new phone was going off. She had gotten a new phone, and an Ipod for Christmas. Her Christmas wasn't all the same, but it was a greatful thought of Andrew or Andy, as Sam now called him, for spending the day with her, before going over to his house for the rest of the day.

Sam groggly looked at it. The sudden bright light shining in her eyes, that were so used to the darkness. Maddy was calling.

"Hey, Mads." Sam said, not thinking quiet right. Her alarm wasn't going off, so it must be ealier than 6 am.

"Hey, around 6 want to have breakfast with the team? One last breakfast with everyone before the tournments?" Maddie asked, her voice told Sam she was wide awake.

"Sure. Sweats right?" Sam asked, sitting up. The phone still pressed to her right ear.

"Yeah." Maddie said, "See ya in a few."

"See ya." Sam replyed hanging up the phone. Sam glanced at the time. 15 minutes till 6. This woke Sam far enough to get up, and run around her room. Lily woke by the sudden movement and knocked on the door.

"Sam, what are you doing up so early?" Lily asked.

"Perfect, can you drive me to the diner?" Sam asked, brushing her hair, putting it into a hasty bun, where some of the curls hug down from it. Sam slipped on a sweatshirt over her warm up tee and was shoving on her shoes.

"Yeah." Lily replyed walking out slipping on her boots. Sam came out of her room, with her school books, charged phone, phone charger, Ipod and headphones all in her pockets or bag that she threw onto her back.

Lily and Sam walked down the stairs and into the cold morning. There was very little snow on the ground, but the bottom of Sam's jeans were getting soaked. Sam didn't care, but her feet were getting weat and cold.

Lily started the car, and drove Sam to the diner. Sam gotten in the diner with her school books at 6:01. Maddie waved her over where Cora, Claudia, Kenzie, Mason and herself were sitting. Sam gave them a smile in greeting and walked over.

Sam sat in between Cora and Maddie.

"So, hows Sandy now a days?" Maddie asked, joking.

"Stop with the horrid Ship-name." Sam growled, and Cora luaghed.

"Sorry, sorry." Maddie said, rasing her hands in defeat. Maddie glanced at her phone out of habbit. Breaking up with Willaim had put a slight differnce in her phone use. She would sometimes glance at her phone as if she would be getting a text. Though no text would come.

Maddie shrugged her action off, and looked back at the menu.

Sam and team ate breakfast joking around, and fantasizing about tonights game. How there would be a shut-out. 54 to 0. No fouls from Maddie, and page even scoring 10 points. Going onto the next round. pratcice Having an easy pratice the next day, working hard on Wesnday, then a regular Thursday practice, Friday morning pratice, then the big game on Saterday.
