School couldn't fast enough for Sam. Sam was tapping her penicl or fingers in everyclass. The teachers understood how nerve wreaking this was for the team. They had a great year, winning most of their games, but today they were facing a team they hadn't faced, for a long time.

Hillsdale. A team that was pretty good, but did have their own weaknesses. They had the numbers but also had the foulers. Maddie was mumering to herself in Math class, and Andy was trying to get some of the game off of her mind, as they waited for the bus.

"You're coming right?" Sam asked, sitting beside Andy. Andy had his arm around her, holding her tight. Sam didn't mind it, she felt better in his arms.

"Of course. Lily is giving me a ride." Andy said, smiling.

        "Perfect." Sam said.

        "I wouldn't miss it."

"I don't want you to miss it." Sam replyed.

Sam and Andy kept talking, as Sam ate some grapes, Maddie's mother brought in for the team snack. She was greatful that her mother made a speical little bag for her. Due to her being a Vegetarian. Everyone first wondered why, but when they heard her reason, they understood and respected it. Sam didn't mind just eating the other food, and giving Maddie or someone else the food. Though, they would go out of their way in Sam's view and get stuff for her. Maddie's mother went far out of her way.

Maddie came in, ripping Sam from her thoughts.

"Sorry to break it up, but the bus is here." Maddie said, walking backwards. As if to pretend she saw nothing. Andy let out a laugh and got up, helping Sam up. She was in her sweats, her game socks, and uniform. The socks had her number on it, 26, a gift from the coach as a present.

"The same old Maddie." Sam said, with a smile.

Andy nodded, and walked with Sam, till Sam got on the bus. Andy went to Lily who was in the car and hopped into the car.

Sam sat in a seat with Page. Page sat beside the window, and Sam sat beside the isle. Sam was listening to her music reading her book. Her eyes kept focusing in and out, her mind wasn't on the book, but on the game that was coming up. Even the calmest girl on the team, Cora was tapping her fingers on the seat.

Everyone feared of what was coming next.
