It's now Thursday, and Sam woke up with another slow start.

Sam got up, and moved around her room as if in slow motion. She would have a late game. Doesn't even start for her till around 7 pm. Then after the game it was a good hour and a half drive home. She looked at her homework stack. She caught herself back up in math. She even worked ahead in all of her classes to avoid homework.

She opened her drawers and got her clothes out. Black v-neck tee and jeans. Her normal set even for sweats. She slipped them on, going to the bathroom getting ready.

"Hey Lily! Where's Ma?" Sam called down, noticing that her mother's red car was gone again.

"They won't be home till late tonight." Lily said.

Sam shrugged it off, forgetting her books and headed down stairs slipping on her shoes. Lily promised her, to take Sam early to the diner for a breakfast Nikki would pay for. Lily dropped her off, before heading back home.

Sam rushed inside, to escape the cold. Nikki was waiting, with 2 plates of food waiting. Sam rushed over and sat down. Looking at the food, with wide brown eyes. She was really hungry.

"Go ahead." Nikki said, cheerfully. Sam started to eat her food, happily. When Andrew came in. Andrew sat beside Nikki. Sam only gave him a slight wave.

"Want anything Andrew?" Nikki said, shaking her head at Sam. She was eating the food like she hadn't ate in weeks. To Sam, she really hadn't ate. She had some toast for dinner, not very hungry after that work out she went through.

Andrew shook his head, and laughed at Sam. "Can you breathe?"

Sam looked up, smiling. The plate was empty but the bacon. "Yeah, thanks Nikki!" Sam said, giving her a slight hug, they were sitting at a cicrle table in the coner.

Nikki took the bacon after hugging Sam back. "No problem!"

Sam nodded. "So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Sam asked.

"Well, I was wondering if Cole was really taking you." Nikki said, with a worried gaze.

"Yeah, and I know. But you know I think it's just stories." Sam said, grumbling and mumbling.

Nikki shook her head, but left the subject be. Andrew asked some questions about what Sam liked to do.

"What is your favorite thing to do, besides sports." Andrew asked once.

        Sam shrugged. "I don't know."

"She loves books." Nikki said, wearing her casual smile.

        "Really?"

"No!" Sam said, a little to fast, there she was busted. She loved her books, but never read in public, heck. Only in her room or house she read. She thought it was uncool, but she couldn't help but read. She loved how she could escape the world around her, and live a horrid life, have a wonderful life and feelings that she lived through the main character.

Most of her favorite books, played with her emotions, which would leave her in a wreak and she would have a book hangover. Which one would be so stunned by a part, that they would stare at the book, and then have the emotional rage or very sad tears.

"You do, wow." Andrew said, and Sam gave up. She quickly changed the subject.
