When i looked at the clock it said 8:21PM. Where was Cody? He knew mom always makes dinner at 8PM. We never started eating before everyone one of us was there (mom, dad, Cody and me). I already called him like a thousand times but he seemed to not hear my phone calls. I started playing with my brown hair while I looked out of the window. No sigh of Cody.

"Mom can't we just start eating, i'm so hungry" I said annoyed. But my mom just ignored my question and continued texting on her phone.

When I looked back to the window I finally saw Cody walking up the street. But he wasn't alone... who was that? It was dark outside so i couldn't really see who it was. They both stopped under a street light.

I still didn't know who that was but that guy looked so good. His hair was brown and they were styled back. He looked pretty tall and he was wearing a black leather jacket. He probably was around the age of Cody. Cody was 2 years older than me, which means he was 19 years old.

Cody said goodbye to the mysterious guy and started walking towards our house, while the guy turned around.

"Honey, are you okay?", asked my mom confused. I looked away from the window when i saw both mom and dad staring at me. I must have looked very concentrated, trying to identify who that boy was.

"Yes i'm fine i was just looking for Cody", i said while i let out a short laugh. The door opened and Cody stepped into the Kitchen.

"There you are! We're hungry, come on sit down.", said my mom while Cody sat on the table. I would be dead if i was this late for dinner.

I sat impatiently in one of our old chairs and gave Cody a small smile. You could say my brother and I had a pretty good relationship, even though we had a lot of fights and he annoyed me sometimes. He was pretty and he reminded me a little bit of my dad. His hair was curly and brown and he had bright blue eyes, just like me. He was maybe a little to overprotective sometimes but i was fine with that. Most of the time.

Cody gave me as well a small smile. Mom took the chicken out of the oven and started filling our plates with it. It smelled delicious. I was so hungry. When she was done with it and she sat on the table we finally started eating.

I couldn't stop thinking about that boy. I really wanted to ask Cody who that was at first but i didn't because it seemed a little weird to ask him that. And besides that he would have known that i stalked him through the window.

"Did you had fun tonight sweetheart?", asked my mom Cody after a while.

"Yeah i went out with Alex. We had a great time", responded Cody with a full mouth.

Alex. My heart skipped a heartbeat. I was being really ridiculous. I mean i didn't even see him that good and he was probably way to old for me plus i was pretty sure he had a girlfriend. I really wanted to know more about him but I held myself back from asking Cody.

"Oh yeah Alex, he seems like a nice guy. He should definitely come over for dinner one time!", said my mom excited.

"Yeah, thats actually a good idea, maybe he could come over tomorrow? We wanted to go out tomorrow anyway", Cody suggested.

"Yes, that would be great!", agreed mom.

I felt my body tensing. I was being ridiculous again.

When everyone's plates were empty everyone stood up and started to clear the table. When i was done with putting my dishes into the dishwasher i went up the stairs to my room.

After I entered my room, I immediately grabbed my phone to text my best friend Lizzy.

I have to tell you something very crazy tomorrow xx -Diana

Oh god.. can't wait xx -Lizzy

What was wrong with me? I Usually wasn't the girl that always had crushes or was in love with someone. I used to have a crush when i was in the 4th grade but thats it. I wanted to scream because i was so mad that i couldn't stop thinking about Alex. I just really wanted to know more about him...
