My brothers best friend

Chapter 9: Day two

"Diana?" knock. knock. knock.

I felt something move under me. What was going on? I slowly opened my tired eyes. When I realized I was laying on Alex's chest I quickly moved away as I felt the blood rush into my face.

How did this happen? 

Knock. Knock. Knock. 

Oh my god.

Alex groaned as I quickly made my way to open the door. I was looking terrifying and my hair was a mess.

I slowly opened the door, my eyes still half closed. When I saw the expression of Cody's and Matt's face my heart almost dropped.

"Is Alex there?", Cody was looking like he was about to beat the shit out of something. 

I wanted to say something but Cody pushed me away as he stepped into the room.

"What the fuck are you doing here?!", I heard Cody yell after a short while.

I quickly went back inside the room. Alex was sitting on the bed and he had a very confused look on his face.

"Cody-" 

"Shut up Diana! I told you to stay away from him!" his loud voice scared me. My eyes started watering.

"Who do you think you are?! I introduce you to my sister so you can become friends and you decide to fuck her?! What is wrong with you?" my brother said facing Alex.

"Cody what the fuck man? Nothing happened between us!" Alex said as he slowly stood up.

"Why are you in my sisters bed then, huh?! Stop fucking lying!" he looked like he was about to punch him, which scared me.

"Your sister was fucking crying because you made her upset! So I was there for her! She didn't want to be alone!" Alex got louder.

Cody stayed silent for a little bit. Then he punched Alex in his face. Was I dreaming?

"Cody what are you doing?!!", I yelled as I started crying. 

Then Alex punched him back and they started fighting. Matt quickly ran to them and tried to part them. 

I ran up to Cody and pushed him away from Alex. His lip was bleeding. My whole body was shaking and I was sobbing.

"I hate you!" I said as I looked up to him.

I ran out of the room and slammed the door behind me. I heard one of them call my name but I didn't stop walking. Then suddenly I bumped into something. 

"Hey Diana, what's wrong??" , it was Nick.

I didn't respond, I just hugged him as I continued crying. It was all my fault. Alex was just there for me and that's what he got as a thank you? God, I was so angry at my brother.

Nick held me tight as he gently rubbed my back. I heard a door open and then steps.

"Bub I'm so sorry", I felt Cody touch my shoulder.

I slowly turned my head, as I slowly let go of Nick.

"Don't ever talk to me again" 

I looked over to Alex. His lip was bleeding even more than Cody's did. His hair was a mess and he looked sad and angry at the same time. I started crying more, as I was starring at Alex. I felt so guilty.

Alex quickly headed to me and pushed me into a hug. I grabbed his t-shirt, crying into his chest. I was probably just being really dramatic but I was feeling so guilty. I didn't want anyone to get hurt because of me.
