Chapter 11: Hospital

(Trigger warning: vomit)

After about twenty minutes later Alex stepped back into the room. I could tell that the phone call had made him pissed.

I was sitting on the edge of my bed and Cody, Matt and Nick were all sitting on the Sofa. Alex layed his phone on the nightstand and sat down on the other side of the bed. I tried to meet his eyes but he was starring at the floor. Poor Alex...

"Is everything okay?", I asked him carefully. Alex looked up but he didn't say anything. I could see that he was clenching his jaw. He started nodding his head slowly.

"Alex-"

"I'm fine Diana", he interrupted me in a harsh way. God damn it.. I just wanted to make sure he was okay..

I looked over to the sofa and noticed that the boys were starring at us. I felt myself blush as I turned away from them. 

I felt the bed shift behind me.

"I'm going into my room, I need to rest a little", Alex said as he made his way to the door. When he left the room, he slammed the door behind him which caused me to jump a little.

"Don't be sad Diana. You know what I told you. It's not about you, it's just him trying to handle the whole situation...", Matt said carefully.

I nodded my head slowly as I starred on the floor. I really wanted to know what Ava had told him. What was he so angry about? 

"Should we go and drink something?", Cody asked us all after a little while. Matt and Nick both agreed.

"What about you Bub? Do you want to come with us?", my brother asked me. I really wasn't in the mood to do anything right now and my stomach was hurting a little, so I said I was tired and wanted to go to bed soon. 

They all gave me a goodnight hug and left the room. I sat on the sofa and let out a long sigh. I was so angry at Ava and also a little bit of Alex. I know that he was mad but he could have at least tried to be more kind to me.

I was starring at the ceiling when I suddenly heard something ring. I went over to my bed where I had left my phone. 

I grabbed my phone but it wasn't the thing that was ringing... I looked around the room confused. 

Oh no.. Alex had left his phone on the nightstand. I slowly went closer to it. When I saw Ava's name on the screen my heart stopped. This wasn't good at all.. I was not sure what I should do so I waited a little.

When she hung up I saw that Alex had a lot of missed calls and messages. It was wrong but I grabbed his phone. Of course all the messages and calls were from Ava.

Alex please call me back. I'm so sorry.

Alex please! I love you and you love me too, I know it!

I'm sorry I said that to you... I'm never going to say that again, I promise. You're not worthless and you're loved I promise..

[Picture] See how happy we look together? You're nothing without me. Diana could never make you this happy.

What?? Oh my god... I was so angry right now. Did she really say that? I couldn't believe it. I felt my blood boiling.

I couldn't see the picture because his phone seemed locked. I pressed the home button, even though I was pretty sure it was locked. I was wrong though. Who wouldn't put a code on their phone? My breath was heavy and I was sweating when I looked down on the screen.
