"It took longer than usual to get here," Jeonghan observed, as they got out of the car, shutting their doors at once.

"You looked so comfortable that I wanted to let you rest." Seungcheol took out his phone and typed something quickly, locking his phone and putting it in his pocket again. "So I took the long way here."

Jeonghan stretched his arms and bent his back backwards, as they walked towards the apartment, getting in and out of the elevator. "That's true. Those heated seats are no joke. As soon as I get my first paycheck as an Attending, I'm splurging on those for my car."

When they reached the apartment, Seungcheol reached into his pocket, fishing for the key, and when he finally found it, he inserted it into the doorknob quickly. The apartment was dark. Feeling around the wall for the light switch, he flicked the lights on.

"Surprise!"

The first thing Jeonghan noticed was the people. They hopped up from their spots, crouched on the floor and threw their hands in the air, welcoming Jeonghan. Hanging from the wall behind them was a large white and teal banner, the words "CONGRATULATIONS JEONGHAN" printed on them in large block letters, and a picture of a rabbit with a party hat printed on the bottom right corner. There were balloons everywhere, some tied to the few plants Seungcheol had in his apartment, some laying on the floor, and a few escapees floating near the ceiling, alongside the rainbow colored streamers.

Jeonghan's eyes landed on the people in front of him. Some old faces, some new, some he had only recently met.

Joshua, Soonyoung, Mingyu and Chan immediately ran up to embrace him.

"Congratulations!" they shouted, and Jeonghan grinned widely, hugging them all back. Soonyoung and Joshua hugged Jeonghaan so tight he thought he might die of suffocation, and Mingyu simply wouldn't let go no matter how long had passed. While he was trapped in somewhat of a endless (but loving) hug, he peered out from the corner of his eye to the other guests. He noticed that some of Seungcheol's friends were also here. He recognised Wonwoo and Jihoon, since he'd met them many times before, but he didn't recognise the other. Nonetheless, he noticed Jeonghan's gaze and smiled at him kindly, raising his plastic red glass.

Seungcheol stood to the side, watching his boyfriend enveloped in hugs from his friends, and smiled warmly at him. Once his friends released him, Jeonghan walked up to Seungcheol, who was pouring himself a glass of soda, and lightly smacked his arm.

"Ouch!" he exclaimed, clutching his arm.

"When did you plan all this?" Jeonghan looked at the man, eyes narrowed and hands on his hips.

Seungcheol chuckled. "About a week ago. Basically, since you told me you passed the boards with such a good score.".

"Still, you didn't have to plan a party," he said, gesturing to his surroundings. "Lot's of people get good scores..." he muttered quietly.

Seungcheol grinned and placed a kiss on Jeonghan's forehead, brushing his blonde hair away from his eyes with his fingers. "But you see...the difference is, not everyone is you."
