A/N: Hey guys! Wattpad has been really weird and for some reason, it kept putting the Author's note as the most recent chapter, despite me publishing newer chapters. I just wanted to make you guys aware of this, in case you haven't read those chapters! The order of the chapters since then are Change up, A/N, Home, Home Pt.2, OMG, Space, and Chuck. Despite their resolution, Jeonghan was still a bit on edge about the whole situation. He worried when Seungcheol went to work, and was only relieved when he called to say he was home. Call him paranoid, but his mind simply wouldn't rest, imagining all the possibilities, calculating and contemplating what to do in each. But no matter how much he thought, only the fear of losing the one he loved lingered. He absent-mindedly tapped on his coffee-mug, nails making a soft clinking sound, when his thoughts were cut off by a knock on the door. Jeonghan looked up at the clock. It was his day off, but he wasn't expecting anyone...

Peering through the peephole, he looked at his visitor. Jeonghan bit his lip. On the one hand, they could be intruders, here to kidnap him. But they didn't look like kidnappers. They were dressed nicely, one in a lilac shirt with the sleeves rolled up tucked into black slacks, and the other wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and what looked like a long coat (although Jeonghan wondered what use against the cold such a thin coat would provide). That one was even holding a basket filled with what looked like assorted pastries and marmalades. 

"Maybe they're not home," Jeonghan heard one of them say. Gnawing at his nails, Jeonghan paced back and forth in front of the door, careful not to make a sound. When he heard the sound of feet shuffling and steps moving away, though, he made up his mind.

As soon as he opened the door, the two visitors turned around, perhaps alarmed by the sudden whooshing sound.

"Oh! You're home! We thought perhaps you'd gone out."

Jeonghan chuckled nervously. "No haha, just...umm...cooking."

The man nodded and smiled. "We just dropped by to welcome you to the building! I'm Jun."

 "Minghao," the other said, handing the basket in his hand to Jeonghan. "A little housewarming gift." 

"We live in the apartment above yours," Jun said.

"Ohhh" Jeongahan internally face palmed himself, realisation setting in as the panic and paranoia dissipated. He knew they looked familiar, he had seen them coming home together a few days ago, and again in the elevator yesterday. He smiled brightly at them, partly because he was glad to meet his neighbours, but mostly because he was glad they weren't kidnappers.

"It's really nice to meet you, I'm Jeonghan. My partner isn't home yet, but his name is Seungcheol." Jeonghan said, stretching his arm out to the both of them. 

"Why don't you guys come in for a cup fo coffee?"

Jeonghan almost spit out the coffee in his mouth, resisting the urge to laugh at the little anecdote Minghao was telling him about his first date with Jun. Apparently, the latter had rented out a horse and carriage to take them throughout the city, but Minghao was uncontrollably allergic to the horse hair, and had spent most of the date trying not to cry and sneeze in the other's face. 

"I get that! Seungcheol bought me roses on our first date, and I cried so much he thought something was wrong." 

"I heard my name," a voice said behind him, coming up and placing a small kiss on his forehead. 

"Oh honey, you're home! Meet Jun and Minghao. They live upstairs." 

Seungcheol smiled brightly, shaking the mens' hands. "It's nice to meet you." 

"So this is the Seungcheol we've been hearing about," Jun said. 

Jeonghan chuckled and nodded. 

Seungcheol furrowed his eyebrows and glanced at Jeongahan. "What exactly have you been telling them?" 

Minghao chuckled. "All good things, I assure you." 

Seungcheol chuckled. "I'll take your word for it," he said, walking into the kitchen to pour himself a cup of coffee as well, and then sitting next to his boyfriend at the kitchen table. 

"So, what are we talking about?" 

Jeonghan smiled brightly. "Jun and Minghao were just telling me how they met. Did you know they're both from China, but they met here in Korea? Isn't that so cool!"

Weeks had passed since the first threat, and if you'd have asked Seungcheol, he would have said everything was back to normal. He and Jeonghan were happily living together, they had a stable group of friends, work was great, and the case was coming along nicely. He had been interviewing some of the victims, and even though they refused to testify, the interview transcripts were a start. 

When he received the call this time, Seungcheol was talking to Jihoon about what the victim he had interviewed today had said, the two of them sipping on some coffee in the former's office. 

"Hello?" 

"Hello, again." 

That muffled voice. It was all too familiar. 

"You, again," Seungcheol said through gritted teeth, voice bitter." 

The man chuckled. "Yes, me again. You didn't seem to get my message last time. I'm quite upset, to be frank. I thought we had a deal." 

"Deal, my ass."

The man huffed. "I thought you would say that." 

"I told you, I won't back down." 

The man clicked his tongue. "You're too good, you know." 

"You're too evil, you know," Seungcheol retorted. 

The man chuckled again, and Seungcheol struggled to prevent himself from lashing out at the man, pushing his anger down."Touche, Choi Seungcheol." 

He sighed. "I really hoped it wouldn't come to this, I really did." 

Seungcheol waited for the other to continue, but he remained silent. 

"Come to what?!" he finally said, raising his voice just a little. 

"Why, thank you for asking. We're giving you 24 hours. Either bring us the case files and quit your job, or someone you love dearly is going to be in a lot of trouble." 

And the line went dead, just like that. 

At that moment, only one person, one name went through his mind.
