Seungcheol never forgot about that case. That congressman was an evil man. It sent chills down Seungcheol's spine. Seungcheol was sitting at his desk, reviewing the case files over and over again. The more he read, the tighter he clutched his pen; it made his blood boil. He was brought back to reality when he heard a knock at the door.
"Mr. Choi? I brought the case files you asked for." Seungcheol gestured for him to come inside, and Seokmin handed them to him. "Any leads so far?"
"Nothing as of yet. But I know in my gut that there's something going on here. Since Congressman Kim was originally brought in for corruption, we'll have to indict him for something else this time. Luck for us, he's gotten around quite a bit." Seungcheol gestured to the files spread all across his desk, and Seokmin just nodded. One file, in particular, caught his eye though.
Known and Ex-Members of the underground Mafia
"Do you think he has ties to the Mafia?"
"I'm not sure yet, but it's possible. That seems to be the only fathomable way that he got away with everything, isn't it? It also explains where all the money he embezzled from the budget went. I traced his bank account information and it isn't, nor ever was, there. He didn't buy any new property, cars, or anything. So where did the money go?"
"Perhaps he kept if offshores", Seokmin suggested.
Seungcheol nodded, while squeezing his yellow foam stress ball. "Perhaps."
There was a moment of silence as Seungcheol thought. "Seokmin, I want you to trace his name to any foreign accounts. Try his wife's name, his daughter's and son's as well. If that doesn't work, look into his parents and siblings as well. And check if he has any known aliases. If the money is nowhere to be found, we'll have to start looking...underground."
"Yes Mr. Choi. I'll look into that immediately." Seungcheol closed his eyes and continued to squeeze the ball. He had to think. There must be something he's missing. It doesn't make sense. If he had it offshore, why didn't he flee when he was being indicted? If he gave it to the mafia, why? It all made Seungcheol's head hurt. Seungcheol heard the door click, and he was left alone, alone with his endless thoughts and throbbing head.
A headache huh? A perfect excuse to give a certain doctor a visit.

It had only been a day since Seungcheol's surprise hospital coffee date, but Jeonghan found himself thinking about him again. But this time rather than a guilty feeling, Jeonghan had butterflies in his stomach. He couldn't wait to see him this Sunday.
"Is he...daydreaming?" Soonyoung asked.
Chan shrugged at the doctor. "I think so."
"Dr. Yoon? Dr. Yooooon?" Soonyoung waved his hand in front of the doctor's face. Nothing. "Jeonghan! Jeonghan! YOON JEONGHAN!" he said as he slammed some files down on the counter. The loud sound startled Jeonghan, and finally awoke him from his daze.
"Oh my god Soonyoung! When did you get here? You scared me!" Soonyoung looked at Chan, giving him a look that said "can you believe this guy?"
"Jeonghan, you can daydream about your boyfriend all you want on your own time, but we have patients for now." Jeonghan turned red. How did he know he was thinking about Seungcheol?
And boyfriend?
"He's not my boyfriend, Soonyoung," Jeonghan finally said, after about thirty seconds of silence. "Just someone I'm seeing."
"Yet. He's not your boyfriend yet," Soonyoung said, giving Jeonghan a wink, and he found himself blushing again. Soonyoung handed Jeonghan some files. "You have ER duty today. There are already three patients waiting for you." Jeonghan sighed. ER duty again. He was going to die of exhaustion at this rate.
