Big thanks to all my readers for supporting my story! I hope you continue to enjoy it! :)
Seungcheol, I like you. A lot. More than I can put in words. I may not be the best at showing it, but it's true. I promise you that." Seungcheol felt the familiar feeling of tears rolling down his face. Jeonghan looked tenderly at the other man, and reached over, gently wiping them away.
"Hey don't cry. I'm here now. And I promise I won't go anywhere. So long as you don't let me go." Seungcheol closed his eyes, trying to make the tears stop. He sniffled a bit, but reached out for Jeonghan's hands, placing them in his.
"Yoon Jeonghan, I can never let you go.
Even if I wanted to. My heart won't let me."----------------------------*~*-----------------------------
Seungcheol brushed the hair away from Jeonghan's eyes. He watched as his chest rose and fell, rose and fell. The steady rhythm was comforting. Relaxing even.
Seungcheol glanced over at the clock. It was already 8:00. He didn't want to get up, didn't want to leave this moment, but he knew he had to. Placing a soft kiss on the other's forehead, he carefully slipped out of the bed and showered, throwing on some sweatpants and a t-shirt, and headed to the kitchen.
----------------------------*~*-----------------------------
Jeonghan felt a cold draft from a nearby window, causing him to pull the blanket towards himself. He stretched an arm out to the other side of the bed, wanting to feel the warmth of his boyfriend. But all he felt was a cold and empty bed. Jeonghan didn't open his eyes, but he felt his heart beating slightly faster.
Where was he?
Jeonghan's head began to cloud with thought after thought, fears creeping up his spine. He sat up in the bed, pulling the blanket further up to cover himself, still lost in thought when Seungcheol walked into the bedroom, spatula in hand. He was leaning on the doorway, smiling at him. As soon as he saw him, Jeonghan sighed in relief. He was still here. He was still here. With him. Jeonghan couldn't help but let his mind wander to the events of last night. The tears. The words they exchanged. Their tender kisses. The way Seungcheol wordlessly lead Jeonghan to his bedroom.
Jeonghan felt his cheeks heat up.
"Good morning. Slept well?"
Jeonghan nodded. smiling.
"Good. The shower is that way if you want to freshen up." Seungcheol pointed to the bathroom attached to the bedroom, and Jeonghan nodded. "Oh shit, the food!" Seungcheol bolted to the kitchen, and Jeonghan laughed.
Getting out of bed, Jeonghan got dressed and walked to the bathroom. There, placed neatly on the countertop, was a toothbrush, a fresh towel, a pair of sweatpants, a t-shirt, and a sticky note with a heart on it.
----------------------------*~*-----------------------------
Jeonghan walked out of the bathroom and into the kitchen, still drying his hair with the towel. The kitchen table was already laid out. Two plates, two spoons, two forks, two knives, two pairs of chopsticks. And a lot of food. Seungcheol was still at the stove, when he saw Jeonghan enter.
"Oh you're here! Sit, sit. Breakfast is ready. " Jeonghan took a seat, staring at the food in front of him.
"What is this?" Plate after plate after plate was laid out on the table, containing enough food to feed the whole building.
"Breakfast. You can start. I'll be there in a second." Jeonghan wanted to be polite and wait for Seungcheol, but his stomach grumbled at the sight of all the food. Seungcheol turned around, surprised at the sound, and Jeonghan was mortified.
