I padded back to camp, relieved but worried. I climb into the den and curl up in bed. What will happen now?
"Ashstar called a meeting." Shadowpelt meows. I open my eyes and walk out underneath Ashstar where he was perched on Hightree. I got several hard glares and suspicious looks. Could it be?
"Stormheart, is it true?" Ashstar asks softly, which is when he's almost the most angry. Darkclaw grins cruelly and triumphantly at me from behind the clan leader. Of course.
"Is what true, Ashstar?" I ask him.
"I mean is it true that you've been meeting a BlazeClan warrior?" He yowls. Now he's even more angry.
"Yes, Ashstar." I meow quietly, meeting his burning amber eyes with fear. A few shocked yowls erupt in the clearing, mixed with triumphant ones.
"And that she is to have kits?" He hissed. Now all the yowls are of shock. I look down at my paws.
"I love her, Ashstar." I whisper.
With that, Ashstar yowls and leaps at me. I gasp as he pushes me to the ground and holds me there.
"Get out and never come back." He hisses, extremely close to my face. He lets me run out of the camp.
"Traitor! Liar!" Ashstar's yowl echoes through my world forever.
