I take him to the place I first saw him and can't stand to be silent. Shadowpelt comes out of KittyClan side. He hadn't been at BlazeClan.
"No!" He cries when he sees Stormheart. He bounds forward and presses his muzzle into the cool fur.
"I'm so sorry." I tell him.
"It's all my fault! I should have been there!" He yowls.
"It is not your fault!" I insist. I look to Silverpelt.
"Are you saying that fault belongs to StarClan?" He asks.
"No. I broke the warrior code. It's mine." I answer. "I should have died instead."
"No cat should die." Shadowpelt whispers.
"Stormheart!" I sob. "Stormheart!"
