Jungkook quickly sat on his bed, covering himself with the duvet as he placed a pillow on his lap and the book over it, "Do I really have to read this thing?" He asked while turning the book up and down analyzing it.

"You want our mate right? Then goddamit read it!" Frost angrily spat.

"Okay okay buddy, chill down! I'm reading it." With that, he opened the book and reading the title "MATES" written in bold letters.

Everyone has a mate, their other half. It can just take some time before they find that special person. After werewolves turn 18 they can find their mate.

Some have to wait a long time before finding their mate and some might not, but the wolf spirits have a way of bringing two together no matter how far apart.

"I know and I found my mate after 2 damn years..." Jungkook scoffed.

"You just started reading, why you're being so tempered?" Frost asked and Jungkook puffed out a breath before continuing.

Of course, usually, the people who don't want to find their mates happen to find them, but in the end, it is worth it.

"You always thought that a mate is just important to give you an heir, I think that's why you're suffering! You made me suffer as well, AND MY DEAR MATE TOO!" Frost whined about his mate once again and Jungkook rolled his eyes at him mentioning Y/N as his, "OUR! And I'm sorry!"

Werewolves know the instant they set eyes on their mate that, that is in fact their mate. Some even before notice their wolf acting up but they don't know why.

Jungkook remembered how his eyes met Y/N's eyes and the way she was so incredibly beautiful, "Her eyes..." He smiled to himself remembering how she looked.

When they catch the one of a kind scent of their mate their wolf goes crazy.

His mind filled with memories of the moment he was near her. The sweet smell of chocolate and cherry lingering in the air, It was like a shot of adrenaline right to his heart.

Werewolf relationships with their mates is a very strong bond, stronger than any bond.

He imagined the moment when he saw tears in Y/N's eyes telling her she's suffering herself, his heart fluttered for the first time at that moment. The moment when he pledged he'll solve it and get her by his side. A sad chuckle left his lips as he turned the page.

THE MARK

Once a werewolf finds his mate, he marks her to let others know she is taken. This is done by him biting her neck, which leaves a mark forever.

"I do want to tell the whole world she's mine, ONLY MINE!" His mind lingered around the images of him marking her as his, how beautiful she'll look under him, like a hot mess.

He bit his lip unknowingly imagining her neck filled with his art. His stomach churned at the thought of her moaning under him, wanting him while he'll be the only one to claim her.

"Earth to Jungkook!" Frost brought him back to reality and Jungkook cleared his throat embarrassed by his own thoughts, "Ahh...uhm...okay!" He said while scratching his nape in embarrassment.

After that, they are more drawn to each other and it makes it harder to resist one another. The females tend to get emotional and the guys tend to get, Concupiscent.

"After that? Huh? He's being from now!" Frost sarcastically said while Jungkook scrunched his face in confusion, "What the hell does it mean?"

"Nothing, just the male is way opposite of the female," Frost answered simply hoping that the boy would get it.
