"Last chance to give an explanation, better not lie." Jungkook said in a calm tone and Hoseok stood there bowing his head down, "Yes prince!"

"WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I MINDLINKED YOU?" The way he grabbed the manchette more harder with every word he let out was enough to make everyone shiver.

Mr. Jung stood up looking at the growing fog of horror but Jungkook raised his palm gesturing him to sit back. With hesitation plastered over his forehead he slowly went back.

"In my roo-" Hoseok got cut off as Jungkook growled in fury.

"I said no lies Hyung!" Taking deep breaths Jungkook tried calming himself. But hoseok stood there shocked at the sudden rise in his voice, the younger never yelled at him before.

"Your Highness, I'm unable to answer your question and I'm sorry about that. I gave my words to my mate and no matter how small a promise is, I'm unable to break it." With that Hoseok knelt down, his head hung low.

"Call Momo Noona!" Jungkook clicked his tongue while poking his cheeks. He was trying hard to calm his anger down because he knew if he lost his temper he's going to be more disastrous than any war.

His mind went back to flashbacks remembering the scenes he witnessed that night.

JUNGKOOK'S POV

“This can't be a coincidence! I never expected this from you hyungs!” I threw the glass of wine on the floor as anger rushed through my veins and ran downstairs to the back exit.

The path at my feet fades as it leads into the darkness of the woods yet follow it I must for the sake of my mind.

Somewhere in there is the answers I need, and so my feet follow the narrow strip of naked earth among the giants of root and leaf. I let my hands touch their skin as I pass, feeling their gentle spirits soothe my own.

For this is their world as they stretch toward the light they never see yet sense, and I must do the same. Open up my other senses, to sound, to aroma, and listen so very carefully to every instinct.

The breeze was colder than ever here. It is the type of coldness that reaches into my bones, as if my heart were a door left wide open to the icy wind, slamming only to open again.

The darkness was thick and the light I was carrying in my high right hand hardly lit my path allowing me to see at most an arm’s reach in front of myself. And the black mesh that covered my face only made my sight worse.

"What's there in between such deep wood--" My eyes fell on the same figure with a black cloak.

"Martha?" Frost said and I hid behind a huge tree trunk close enough to make out what was happening.

My eyes fell on a taller figure near her. A muscular body, his skin was pale and as white as chalk. They were talking about something but I was unable to make out their words.

One thing that made my mind go stunned was that I saw fangs in his mouth. Vampires? Just the thought of a vampire meeting Mother Martha gave me enough answers.

So you're helping him? I scoffed at the thought, never in my life, I ever imagined the woman I treat as a mother will deceive me like this. My heart felt a sudden pang of disappointment and hurt, only one question rang in my mind.

How could you? Why would you?

I was in my own world trying to figure out why a mother will deceive his child, his own pack, why?
