AUTHOR'S POV

Jungkook was taking a round around the palace with his arms folded on his back, Jimin tagging along with him.

“Did you talk to Luna?” Jimin asked in a low voice while walking.

“Yeah...she was so hurt. I and Jin hyung tried to lift up her mood a little.” Jungkook answered, voice sounding low than usual.

“Hmm, I hope she stays strong.” Like that they were talking about things trying not to make either of them feel burdened or left alone.

They loved Alpha more than anyone. And even Alpha cherished both of them a lot, literally a lot. They just hoped that they'll see him fit and fine soon.

And suddenly a guard came to Jungkook.

“Forgive me to interrupt you with your business prince Jungkook. But Mr. Kang, the Delta second in command of Lockheart Pack is here.” The guard said with his head low in respect.

“Mr. Kang? Now? At this hour?” Jungkook looked questionably at Jimin and he just shrugged, “Send him to the special room, I'll be there.” He answered to the guard.

“Yes, prince!” The guard bowed in respect and walked back to inform Mr. Kang.

“I'll go to Luna then.” Jimin said.

“Sure!” Jungkook smile a little at him and they both parted ways from there.

JUNGKOOK'S POV

I made my way towards the special room hoping for the best, there was a feeling of uneasiness just by thinking about something happening or harming my Y/N.

"I hope everything is alright!" Frost said and I hummed in response to him, regaining my gesture I stepped inside the special room and took my seat, waiting for Mr. Kang.

Not so late the gates opened revealing Mr. Kang, who bowed before entering and I stood up in respect for him.

"Good Evening Prince Jeon! I'm here regarding our Alpha's Worry!" Mr. Kang politely said.

Worry?

"Jungkook everything's gonna be okay right?" Frost asked and I bit my lip as anxiety started building up inside me.

"Worry? What happened? Is there any problem? Please do inform us, we're here to help!" I tried sounding as much professional as I can, but deep inside I was waiting for him to answer me.

"Ahh…It's just that Alpha Kim sent a letter to Alpha Jeon Some days ago. But it's been a while and the messenger never returned. Also, there was no answer from Alpha Jeon's side." Mr. Kang paused.

"So he's a little worried if everything's alright or not. He asked me to meet Alpha Jeon regarding this!'' He completed his sentence before bowing a little.

"Alpha Jeon is a little sick so meeting him is a bit difficult for now. But I can surely tell you we never received a letter, no messenger came to us." I answered in the most polite way ever.

"Thank you so much, I'll notify Alpha about the problem. So, I would like to take my leave then." He bowed again, turning around to leave and that's when Frost spoke out of the blue, "Yaaahh! You fool!! We got a chance to meet My mate! Why the hell are you letting it go?''

"Correction 'OUR MATE!' And what chance?" I asked sighing frustratedly in the process, she's my mate as well how dare he always leave me aside.

"You can leave with him to Lockheart to meet Alpha Kim and use it as an excuse. We getting weak day by day, it's gonna help a little." Frost answered and I jerked forward like a bulb lit up in my mind.

"Wait, Mr. Kang!" I shouted as he turned around and looked at me to continue, "Yes Prince?"

"I'll like to meet Alpha Kim regarding this." I answered as He looked at me confused and I was debating with what to say.

"Ahh as he wanted to meet Alpha Jeon, but he's unable to do so right now. And for now, as I'm the one holding the authority, it's my duty to make it clear." I made it up and tried sounding convincing as he nodded in understanding.

"Please wait outside, I'll be coming to leave with you in a moment." I gestured him with my hand towards the door and he went out as I mind linked Jin hyung.

"Jin hyung!"

"Yes, what happened?" He asked from the other side.

"Notify Luna that I'll be out, I need to visit Alpha Kim regarding something." I answered and was about to turn off the mindlink when he asked again.

"Okay, Everything alright?" He asked again.

"Yes nothing to worry about, I'll be back as soon as possible!" I answered.

"Namjoon and Hobi are gonna accompany you right?"

Nooooo!! I hurriedly replied him, "There's no need to, Mr. Kang is with me." I seriously chose a very wrong person. Jin hyung asks so many questions!

"You sur--" I didn't let him complete and proceeded with my words, "I'm sure, just notify Luna please and if anything happens mindlink me immediately okay?"

"And take care!" With that I turned off the mindlink, finally getting my peace back.

Then straightening my clothes and maintaining my posture, I left with Mr. Kang for Lockheart.

LOCKHEART PACK

AUTHOR'S POV

Finally, they reached the Lockheart palace as Jungkook and Mr. Kang changed into their human forms.

It was insanely huge and breathtaking, ornate in its architecture and splendid in its gardens. The palace had architecture like no other. Instead of the peaks on the roof, it had gold-domed towers, yellow lights, enlightening the palace and giving it an elegant royal look.

Beautiful gaves and candles decorating the entrance on either side, burning with the smell of Lavender, to cleanse and soothe your soul.

"Prince, I'll go get Alpha Kim. And the maids will show you the guest room, please come inside." Mr. Kang politely said gesturing Jungkook with his hand to come inside as he nodded before saying.

"Surely, you go first I'll take a walk around before going inside."

JUNGKOOK'S POV

Mr. Kang bowed and left as I made my way to the backyard, where I shared such a precious moment with her.

The night was new as the stars were shining brightly in the sky. I roamed around here and there, the environment was fresh until I reached near Y/N's room. Her window was visible but that's not what concerned me.

The environment felt different, a different aura and smell, it wasn't of a werewolf for sure. But I'm not sure whom it was of. The smell is faded now like someone just left this place right before I came.

My eyes roamed around looking at the tree bark filled with small scratches like someone jumped there.

Something wasn't right...

It felt different...

I'm pretty sure there was something here...

And this isn't giving any good vibes to me at all...

"Something isn't right!"
