"THERE AIN'T NO REST FOR THE WICKED."

Mary and Sabrina walked through the woods feeling the nippy autumn air touch their skin. Sabrina had a single large stick in her hands. They were currently going to do the summoning spell for their familiars.

"Hopefully this spell works, cousin." Mary Rose said as she tried catching up with the blondie who had glanced back. "It will." She assured.

They finally stopped and Sabrina held up a tiny golden bell. She rung it once and a ringing filled both of their ears. Mary could hear the squawking of crows from a distance. Sabrina then began to carve a circle into the dirt on the ground with the stick she had.

"Spirits of the forest, I promise my intentions to thee. Come forth and seek me and equal we shall be." Sabrina spoke before ringing the bell again. Mary could tell that the air around them was getting thicker. The ringing from the bell resonated within her.

"Not master and servant, but familiar to familiar, to share our knowledge, our spirit, and our traits." She rang the bell once more and there was a silence apart from the wind that was blowing through the tree branches. Mary huffed, putting her hands in her pockets.

"And spirits, we will wait." She spoke as her eyes traveled to the cloudy blue sky. A wind blew through Mary's hair and she felt that someone was behind her. Sabrina and her both turned their heads to see the weird sisters, Dorcus, Prudence and Agatha standing before them with wicked smirks.

The weird sisters weren't exactly nice girls. They were strong but bitchy little twits that Mary didn't particularly like. She slightly scowled at their presence.

"A Summoning spell, Sabrina?" Prudence speaks with her milky voice. The sisters began circling around us like crows circling around a dead cat in the road.

"Calling forth a familiar?" Dorcus added. "Then you are getting baptized." Agatha added as well. They flowed off of each other sentences so well like notes and keys on a music piece.

"Prudence, Dorcus, Agatha." Sabrina said like she didn't expect them to just pop up out of nowhere like this. Our eyes followed them and finally stopped circling us and stood at three different places around me and Sabrina.

"Well, well, well... and are we to assume that means you'll be transferring to the Academy of Unseen Arts as well?" Prudence asked sweetly.

"That's the plan." Mary cut in, making sure to stand her ground. They were about to taunt her and Sabrina, Mary could tell.

"That's unfortunate. We don't want half-breeds at the academy." Prudence said. Mary kept her anger shut into a tight jar and she clenched her jaw. "And who, exactly, are you calling a half-breed, Prudence?" She asked, burning her eyes into the woman.

"Isn't that what she is? Half-witch, half-mortal?" Prudence said before her eyes landed on Sabrina. "Stay with your own kind. You don't want what happened to your mother to happen to you."

"What the heaven is that supposed to mean?" Mary hissed.

"The accident... that took their lives..." Dorcus trailed off, her innocent-like eyes bore into Sabrina. "It would be tragic if a similar one befell on the both of you." Agatha added. Sabrina slightly scowled.

"I'm going to be baited or bullied by you, not in the woods and certainly not at the academy." She spoke sternly. Prudence hummed with a smirk. "Stubborn mutt." She hissed before looking at Dorcus and Agatha who grinned widely. Their attention finally stayed on Sabrina and Mary before they started chanting a spell.

Mary Rose's eyebrows etched together as she tried to piece together what they were saying. Sabrina was doing the same. "What are you doing?" She asked with confusion. They chanted more eloquently and something in Mary clicked. She rolled her eyes and looked at Sabrina.
