"CAUSE I MAKE YOU CRAZY..."

I laid in my bed at the Academy peacefully sleeping. I only wore a brown silk slip to bed and my hair was down past my shoulders. I snored softly before I felt the covers on my body being pulled off me, I shivered at the coldness before opening my eyes and seeing the Weird Sisters smirking down at me.

"Oh, no." I spoke.

"Oh, yes." Prudence said. I sighed. "There is no reason for us to hate each other, Prudence. Why do you decide to poke at me now?" I said.

"Wrong, we have plenty of reasons to hate you. You let a half breed through our doors. You betrayed your own kind. You'll betray us again without hesitation." Prudence hissed before smirking. "If you survive the Harrowing."

I looked at her with confusion. "But I already did, yesterday." I said.

"That was only the beginning." Prudence said before all three of the sisters grabbed my arm.

We walked into the woods. It was wet and dark and cold. I was in front while the sisters were behind me. Where were we going? "This is the same path the Greendale Thirteen, who'd survived torture and imprisonment, walked to the noose." Prudence spoke.

"They kept their eyes straight ahead, fixed on the path." Agatha spoke. "Mortals surrounded them on either side, and if any witch lifted their eyes to meet a human's gaze... they were stoned to death on the spot." Dorcus finishes. We finally stopped. We looked into the distance to spot a big tree. The ground was covered in a mist.

I gulped before making my way up to it. I stopped once I was close enough before my face contorted with confusion. "What do I do now?" I asked.

"You do exactly what the original 13 did. You stand in the wet, cold night. Exposed. Without shoes. Without rest." Prudence speaks as I felt the sisters take off the silk robe I was wearing and taking off my slippers. My feet touched the cold grass and I winced. Goosebumps showed up on my skin. I felt them leaving my side.

"And you don't turn around, no matter what you hear." She said. I shuddered, hearing her words.

"And... what will happen if I do turn around?" I asked. I only heard silence. Shit. I suddenly heard some leaves rustling and a creature growling and joints popping. I gulped deeply.

"Mary! Mary, you need to help me! The weird sisters are hurting me!" I heard Sabrina shout from behind me. My body went stiff. "You can't trick me, demon." I spoke. There was a low growl, that was definitely not Sabrina. I suddenly heard her scream out in pain. I heard the sound of wet munching noises. My eyes began to water. Her screams stopped. The growling continues.

"Mary Rose." I heard Ambrose's voice. My eyes slowly widened. "Ambrose?" I said softly. I heard the rustling of leaves and grass.

"Turn around, please. It's only me." His voice echoed through my ears. I closed my eyes. It's not him, it's not him, Mary Rose. "You're not Ambrose." I said, sobbing softly. The growling continues.

"Mary, don't turn around. No matter what this beast says. You are stronger than the evil in these woods." I heard a man's voice say to me. Wait, was this the demon talking? My eyebrows etched together.

"We'll be here, Mary Rose. We'll protect you until Dawn." He said. I felt a sense of relief from his words. My heart slowed and I wrapped my arms around myself. The growling that once filled my ears stopped.

Before I knew it, the sky was blue and the birds chirped sweetly. Tears stained my cheeks and my hair was clammy and dirty. I shivered from the cold.
