"I AM... I AM, A LITTLE WICKED..."

"Ms. Wardwell? What is the Book of the Beast doing here?" I asked sternly. Ms. Wardwell goes to the other side of the table. I looked up at her. "The kind of... power you and Sabrina will need to save Greendale will... require you too--" I cut her off

"Sign our names?" I said. "Exchange our freedom for power? We already said no to this, Ms. Wardwell." I said.

"Mary... this is what we need to do. We need to save Greendale, and if it requires you to sign the Book of the Beast to gain more power... so be it." Wardwell said in defeat.

"You're not the same witch you were the night of your... ill-fated baptism. You two have the potential to be the greatest witches of your generations. But there is a cost that comes with that." Ms. Wardwell finishes.

"There has to be another way." Sabrina says with squinted eyebrows. "There's not one I can think of. You must sign. It's the only way you'll be able to be strong enough to stop—." Wardwell was cut off by the wind picking up. We heard a horse galloping in the distance. "That's him now. The Red Angel of Death. Can you hear him?" Ms. Wardwell asks. They hear a horse neighing in the distance. My eyes widen. Something in my mind told me not to do it, but I had to.

"I know you're scared, Mary. Because all women are taught to fear power. Own your power. Don't accept it from the Dark Lord. Take it. Wield it. Save your friends. You two have all but signed already, Mary." Ms. Wardwell says, sighing.

"But..." Sabrina trails off. "What's more important? You and Mary's pissing contest with the Dark Lord, or the salvation of your friends?" Ms. Wardwell says. She was right.

"If we sign... " Sabrina says. "It is your destiny. If you do not, Harvey will die. Rosalind and Susie will die. Your aunts, your cousin, Mary will die. I will die. Please, Sabrina... for all our sakes." Wardwell whispers. They hear the horse neighing again in the distance. I shuddered.

There was a long silence.

"I'll sign." We both say in unison. Me and her walked up to the altar. I could hear growling in my ear.

"Do you do this of your own free will? And do you understand what it means?" We hear a sinister voice say. I shook with fear before nodding. Sabrina nodded as well.

"When I call on you girl, you must answer." The voice says again. Sabrina and I both hold out our hands. I looked in the distance to see a crowd of angels just behind Wardwell. My eyes began to water. The same one I saw at my failed baptism stood at the front of them. They looked scared but faithful at the same time. "I'm sorry." I whispered to them.

The angel shook their head before grinning. "Even if you do sign, God still loves you. He will save your soul from the unclean and sinful, Mary. You are still divine in the eyes of the Yahweh." They spoke softly, causing my heart to slow and beat normally. I smiled weakly.

I took out a pocket knife from my pocket and sliced my palm open. I winced in pain. My palm began to bleed. I held it over the book and let a drop of blood get onto it. I hesitantly picked up the pen. I breathed out before signing my name in the book. Sabrina did the exact same thing.

As soon as she got done signing her name a bright light blinded us. It was quick but I'm pretty sure we all noticed. We gasped in unison, a wave of power washed over me. It was absolutely euphoric. It was unlike anything I'd ever felt. We stumbled back a bit. Wardwell ran over to us, she grabbed a hold of my arms, helping me stand.

"Mary. Sabrina. Breathe. Let it in." She says.  "Can you feel it? Do you feel it?" Ms. Wardwell asks like it was the end of the world. Me and Sabrina nodded.

"Yes." Sabrina answered. "We don't have much time." I said, still regaining my new found strength. "Where do we go now?" Sabrina asks Ms. Wardwell.

"What do we do to stop the Thirteen? And the Red Angel?" I asked next. "Not we, you two. The power you girls have is yours, not mine." Ms. Wardwell says with a grin.

"Then where do me and Mary go? What do we do?" Sabrina asks. "Don't you know, Sabrina?" Ms. Wardwell said.

"Hasn't the Dark Lord already shown one of you what to do?" Ms. Wardwell glances at Mary with a slight grin.

"What are you...?" I trailed off. Suddenly I realized. The burning tree in the woods, with the malum malus. I knew exactly what to do. "I was at the hanging tree. Where the witches died. It was on fire." I said in contemplation.

-

We were now at the tree where the Greendale Thirteen were hung. Sabrina and I stood side by side from each other. We faced the big tree in front of us. "How do we do it Ms. Wardwell?" I asked her. She stood behind us, keeping an eye out.

"Dig deep. Mary, it isn't just power. It's rage." Ms. Wardwell says sharply. I breathed in slowly. "It's the desire to change the world... and it's the will to do it. Command the Greendale Thirteen, girls." She said.

We nodded our head and put up both of our hands. "We order the Greendale Thirteen to stop! Go in peace, or face our wrath!" We yelled in unison. Our voices echoed through the forest.

Suddenly thunder sounds in the distance. The Greendale Thirteen suddenly appear in a circle all around the tree. I breathed in nervously.

"Who are you to order us? We felt the wrath of Greendale once, child." One of the witches say. Her voice was confident and very mature. "We won't be hung again." The woman says cockily.

"No, not hung. Burned." I hissed. "Burn us, outsider? We are not of this Earth. No earthly fire can burn us." The witch started with a smirk. I shook my head.

"No, not earthly fire. Hellfire." I said. The witch cackles. "None but the most powerful can summon it: Devils. And in the history of witches, only three--" I cut the bitch off.

"Well, it's about to be five!" I screamed. I raised my hands as well as Sabrina. "I, Mary Spellman, and she, Sabrina Spellman, Child of Night, call forth Fire from the Pit!" I yelled in confidence. My voice echoes powerfully.

Suddenly the woman's hand lit on fire. But this fire wasn't orange or slightly red. It was purely blue. The woman frowns in fear. Everything starts to catch on fire. It's working.

"Ater ignus, fusce fume. Te evoco ut potentium tuam monstres." I started saying the spell. One by one the witches go up in flames. Their screams could be heard for miles. The tree lights on fire as well. It got completely swallowed up.

"Cupidibus flammis hic veni. Carlo sub isnti, harc arborem consumo. Lucem tenebrasque tuas monstra. Impetuum tuum evoco ad devorandum. Hanc arborem ac omnes hospitas devora." I chanted loudly. The screams continue, piercing my ears.

Suddenly I felt a sinful feeling wash through my body like oxygen. I breathed in slowly allowing it to take over my body. I touched something deep and dark in me. And it felt terribly good. My hair suddenly grows a lock of striking white hair in the front of my head. My lips turn a soft shade of burgundy.

I opened my eyes and saw the witches burning and I smirked in victory. Their bodies all burned to ashes. It felt good I smelled their ashes enter my nose. It felt exhilarating.

The ashes then begin to fall from the sky. The pieces of ash flew into my hair that was now voluminous and full of life. I looked over at Sabrina to see that her blonde hair was snow white. She looked at me like she was slightly fearful.

-

We walked down the hallways of the academy with Sabrina by my side. We strutted vivaciously down the hallway like we practically fucking owned the place. We had worn our weird sister dresses. Mines was a deep green and Sabrina's was a cherry red. The collar of my dress had a cross stitched into it.

We walked slowly holding pinkies. We caught the eyes of students who stared longingly. I suddenly spotted Gavin leaning against a wall with a book in his hands, he stared at me with a sparkle in his eyes, his mouth went slack. Ambrose also stood next to him and stared as well.

I smirked before giving him a playful wink.
