"TONIGHT I'M GONNA GIVE YOU ALL MY LOVE IN THE BACKSEAT..."
I made my way up the pebble road that lead to the front door of my home. Once I got to the stairs I spotted Ambrose perched up on the railing, typing away on his computer with a focused expression. Once he realized I was there his eyes landed on me and he closed his laptop.
"School's finally over?" He said. I nodded my head with a slight grin.
"Yep, and I hope to Satan that she tells her mortal friends that she's leaving to go to some posh boarding school from Connecticut." I said, sighing and crossing my arms comfortably. Hopefully while she's hanging out with them tonight she'll tell them so she can be ready for her Dark Baptism.
"Well, once she does she'll wonder what the whole fuss was about in the first place." Ambrose said. A frown began to form on my lips.
"But, Sabrina has mortal friends. I'd doubt that it'd be easy for her to let them go and follow the Path of Night, but, she'll get through it." I said. Oh!
"I almost forgot. I need your help with a spell later. To deal with my principal."
A mixture of a smirk and a grin worked its way on Ambrose's face. "So me and Sabrina can set up a club at school before our baptisms. To protect Susie and all the girls in our school." I finished. Sabrina spoke to me about arranging a club for women so we could protect ourselves and fight back against the misogyny in Baxter. I was definitely on board with the plan.
Ambrose straightened his posture. "My grimoire is your grimoire. And what time will we be spell-casting?" He asked.
"Midnight?" I said with a mischievous grin.
"The witching hour? Ooh, spooky." Ambrose said with an impressed smirk. I slightly chuckled before making my way up the stairs and to the front door. But, before I got there I looked back at Ambrose who's eyes were back on his computer. I tapped his shoulder which made him turn around and look at me.
"Let's set the mood with popcorn and a movie?" I offered with a smile. Ambrose grins before closing his computer and standing to his feet.
"You know Frankenstein's my favorite." He spoke before we practically ran into the house laughing. Ambrose was always the fun family member you could do anything with. And I certainly enjoyed his company. Even though we are nowhere near related we still had an unbreakable bond between us.

After we watched Frankenstein I had a sudden churn in my stomach. I then realized I got cursed by the weird sisters no more than a few hours ago and I needed to tell the Aunties. I stood in the kitchen with everyone except Sabrina and explained what happened in the woods to them. I crossed my arms with slight irritation.
"Aunt Hilda, the weird sisters are brutal. Everyone who goes to the academy is snobby and horrible and racist." I said with a look of disgust.
"Why on earth would they curse you for no reason?" Hilda asked with a look of confusion.
"No worries, Auntie. I took a shower and washed the hex off of me." I breathed out. Hilda hummed. "Well, we're gonna check that for sure." She said, opening the green vintage fridge we had.
"They're jealous of you." Zelda spoke up with her nose turned upwards. I looked at her. "You were adopted into the Spellman household by Edward himself. Who are they? Nobodies." She scoffs.
"But that's precisely why you need a familiar. To protect you from these sorts of attacks." Zelda said.
"Me and Sabrina tried summoning one." I said before turning to look at Hilda who held an egg in front of me. She cleared her throat. "Break an egg, please, miss." She said. She breathes deeply before I grab the egg from her hand.
