Elizabeth's POV:
I studied my appearance in the large mirror that stood before me. My eyes were mesmerized by the gown that covered my small frame. Arthur had picked out a beautiful gown for me to wear when meeting the king. I had to admit, he had amazing taste. The color went perfectly with my slight sun-kissed skin. The corset of the dress fit my waist perfectly, the material perfectly draped over my shoulders.
I had my hair pulled back in a messy, yet beautiful braid with white roses weaved throughout it.
I was stunned by my appearance, I couldn't remember the last time I wore something as elegant as this. I was pulled out of my thoughts by a knock at the door.
"Come in," I called, looking back at the mirror. I watched in the reflection as Arthur entered the door behind me. His eyes find me, and immediately a smile appeared on his face.
"Wow," He commented, he entered the room, coming to stand next to me, "You look absolutely amazing Ellie."
"Well thank you... purple is my color," I uttered, looking over at the blue-eyed boy, "I'm surprised you remembered."
"Of course, I remembered," I stated with a smile," All you wore as a girl was purple."
"Really? I hadn't noticed," I chuckled, turning to face Arthur, "So, what time shall we go meet the king."
