On evenings after the start of autumn, the temperature would drop and the wind would become particularly chilly, seeping in from the gaps of one's sweater. An Zeru couldn't help but shiver as he hugged himself with his arms while leaning against the door of the house, shouting towards the inside, "You should still at least throw a coat out to me!"

Then he pasted himself on the door to listen for any movement from inside.

There was no sound.

He bit the tip of his tongue, and his tone softened as he stretched his hand to knock on the door. "If you're angry with me, you should at least let me in so you can vent out your anger on me. What's up with having me hang out here with the cold wind?"

There was still no sound. An Zeru frowned as he ruffled his hair. Suddenly, he heard subtle footsteps from the other side, and it was getting closer and closer.

He quickly coughed a few times and rubbed his nose, preparing to speak with a bit of a nasal tone. With a click from the lock, Cen Simiao opened the door while still wearing the suit that had yet to be changed.

At this point, she no longer had the seriousness between her brows as she did during the day. Instead, there were a few degrees more of frivolousness towards An Zeru, as she looked him up and down.

"You want to go in?"

Seeing her like this, An Zeru paused, tilted his head to the side, and cheekily grinned. "Can't I, I'm almost freezing to death."

Then he tried to drill into the house.

Cen Simiao raised her eyes, then looked for her pair of high-heels, ready to put them on to go out. An Zeru immediately frowned, pursed his lips, and stopped his movements. "You don't move, I'll go back out."

Stepping on the floor on bare feet, she leaned against the shoe cabinet and spoke with a languid tone. "No need to force yourself, I can also go out. At this time of the day, there are so many people on the street that maybe even a handsome one could be found."

An Zeru tightly pursed his lips and lifted his chin, stared at Cen Simiao as he spatted out, word by word, "I'm not even f*ck*ng dead yet!"

She lowered her eyes. "Are you coming in or not?"

The wind from outside drilled into the house causing the tassels on the curtains to sway, An Zeru's Adam's apple shifted. He glanced at Cen Simiao and suddenly leaned forward, hugging her in one movement.

Cen Simiao directly pinched his waist.

He immediately grimaced in pain. His hand moved up to her collar. Her coat had already been unbuttoned, so taking advantage of that, with a quick pull, he pulled it off.

He frowned as he slipped his arms in as he muttered, "Who would want to go in."

Before the words even fell, Cen Simiao had already closed the door.

With the tip of his tongue against his upper teeth, he went to feel for the lighter in his pocket. Taking out the pack of cigarettes, he pulled one out and stuffed it into his mouth, lighting it as he went downstairs.

An Zeru's eyes narrowed. When he got downstairs, he turned back to look at the house with the lights on. He took a drag and only left when the cigarette had finished burning.

Cen Simiao was particularly upset. She was here still trying to figure out how to turn An Zeru into a winner in life. But then so good of him, he went and set her up.

What's the h*ll was he thinking about in his head.

It must be said, this matter would have some impact on Cen Simiao's shares, though it wouldn't be that serious. Moreover, the company had introduced new technology, so there won't be a loss. Instead, the one who would nurse the most grievances would've been Lu Mi.

Lu Mi regretted his selfish motives.

He wanted new shareholders to join and split some of the equity, in case in the future, if he and Cen Simiao ended up fighting, he wouldn't be oppressed by the other. Thus leading to how proactive he was.

But now, if An Zeru and Cen Simiao ended up getting married, the combination of their shares would be able to completely suppress him.

Then what was this considered?

In the bar, Zhu Fengfeng was having a good time drinking as he boasted indiscriminately, which made people beside him overwhelmed with joy. But then An Zeru was suddenly mentioned, how the other hasn't come out to play for a while.

He patted his thigh and finished the last bit of the alcohol. "That boy sure had the big idea. I only knew about it after hearing it from my Dad. He has successfully started his business and made quite a bit of money."

The people nearby frowned. "Wasn't it said that the An family's business was failing?"

Zhu Fengfeng wasn't very happy to hear this. "Since when the f*ck was it what you have brought up, the An family had been so arrogant lately. I'm telling you, he..."
