For the past few days, Wu Li Chen had been acting cold and difficult to deal with. Cen Si Miao, in response, bottled up her anger and refused to say anything about his change.

In regards to Xu Senni, Cen Si Miao began to become impatient. Packing her luggage, Cen Si Miao prepared to visit Xu Senni, and before leaving, she sent Xu Senni a WeChat message.

Wu Li Chen helped drag her luggage to the car, but he still displayed a cold expression. Cen Si Miao bit her tongue, and upon seeing his appearance, opened her mouth to say something, but changed her mind.

Pursing her lips, Cen Si Miao looked down at her phone to ask the system if there was any way to deal with the situation. When the system loaded up, he shook his head while eating oranges.

“However, according to the Ancient Strategy Book, the other party is probably trying to kill you.”

Wu Li Chen’s frown further deepened, and he returned to the hotel. As he entered, he cast a glance toward Cen Si Miao’s discarded slippers that lay on the floor before heading to the refrigerator to drink water.

Pursing his lips, Wu Li Chen suddenly went over to Cen Si Miao’s slippers and gave them a hard kick.

When Xu Senni received the news of Cen Si Miao’s imminent arrival, Xu Senni rushed to Cen Si Miao’s place and waited.

Tightly gripping her bag, Xu Senni violently gnashed her teeth together. The paintings in her hand were fake, but she realized that she couldn’t fool Cen Si Miao with them. Upon realizing this, Xu Senni rushed to find someone to sell the paintings so she could make a profit, but all the possible buyers could tell the arts were fake with just a glance.

The only thing that would sell was the picture frames, and they would still be able to make Xu Senni some profit.

It was like Xu Senni had lost all her money. She was sure Cen Si Miao had planned everything out, and now, Xu Senni was afraid that all the money for the paintings would go to Cen Si Miao.

When did Cen Si Miao realize my identity? Much to Xu Senni’s surprise, Cen Si Miao had made Xu Senni run around in circles.

When Cen Si Miao arrived at her home, she recognized the person standing at her door. Xu Senni stood there glaring intensely at Cen Si Miao. Xu Senni bit her cheek and clenched her fist so hard that her fingernails began to turn white. She looked as though she was ready to murder someone.

Right as Xu Senni entered Cen Si Miao’s house, she began to smash anything she could get her grasp on violently.

The teacups on the tables shattered into pieces, flying everywhere. The chairs fell as the wine rack collapsed, and the glass shattered on the floor. The pungent smell of liquor and smoke made Cen Si Miao’s head hurt, so she quickly went to open the window.

Turning around, Xu Senni raised her chin and scolded Cen Si Miao. “You’re not that great, you know? We had a business partnership, and you treated me so poorly. I originally knew that this was a chance to get rich and thought it was fate. I didn’t think you’d be so petty.”

As Cen Si Miao watched Xu Senni throw a fit, her lips curled, and she displayed a smile that didn’t reach her eyes. Xu Senni had already brought up the topic, and Cen Si Miao couldn’t help but wonder what was going through Xu Senni’s head.

Did Xu Senni think she would still share money with her?

Cen Si Miao watched her and said, “So you lost money? What’s the big deal? I’ll find someone to help you pad the losses.”

Bowing her head, Cen Si Miao fished her phone out of her bag and made a call.

“Yinli.” Cen Si Miao’s cold tone transformed into a sob as she put the speaker on the call and tossed her phone onto the table.

“You’re willing to call me? I just said a few words, and you already got upset with me,” a helpless tone came from the other side of the line.

Cen Si Miao seated herself on the sofa and leaned back against the cushion. Her expression was relaxed, but her tone was sorrowful. “I- I didn’t mean to get upset with you. I just thought you would be angry with me.”

“What are you thinking about?” Yinli gently laughed.

“I lost money doing business.”

Startled, the other man said, “How much?”

In response, Cen Si Miao explained that she had lost twice as much as what she invested.

“Is that why you were in a bad mood with me? You-”

Before Yinli could finish his sentence, Xu Senni forcefully grabbed the phone and hung it up. Enraged, Xu Senni’s whole body shook as she stared at Cen Si Miao. “You’re shameless.”

For the past few days, Xu Senni hadn’t been able to eat or sleep properly due to her anxiety. She had been terrified that Hu Yinli would blame her if he knew what had happened to all the money. After all, she had always acted intelligent, composed in front of Hu Yinli.

Opening the gallery had been a rash stunt on Xu Senni’s part, and she had lost it all. She was well aware that Hu Yinli didn’t care much about his money, but she was still afraid that he would avoid her, thinking that she was stupid.

In a fit of rage, Xu Senni cursed at her. “You’re a shameless slut!”

Cen Si Miao, adorned in a red skirt that covered her thighs, frowned. Raising her eyebrows, she sneered coldly, “I’m shameless?”

Xu Senni raised her voice and continued to attack Cen Si Miao with a barrage of insults.

Lifting her chin, Cen Si Miao coldly laughed, “You’re the one who slept with my soon-to-be husband.  It’s not like I slept with your husband.”
