Counting the days with her fingers…

Was the state that Cen Simiao was operating on recently. A week had already passed and in a few more days, she would have to find a way to coax him again. Her only consolation was that his favorability level hadn’t dropped.

Suddenly, her cell phone rang.

Cen Simiao didn’t look forward to this call at all, rather, she even felt annoyed to death by it. Gu Yu had been calling every day, it seemed that the other had taken what she said that night as real.

She pursed her lips, and the phone call connected.

The other side asked whether she was free that night in an affectionate and intimate tone.

Cen Simiao answered with a few words, then suddenly changed the topic and asked: “How’s Wu Yunrui?”

Gu Yu came to a sudden stop, and only when he heard her ask again did he come back to himself to hum and haw. In a cold voice, Cen Simiao asked another question: “It couldn’t be that you want to have a foot on both boats, right?”

He hurried to explain and only got a sentence back: “You figure it out yourself.”

Then the call was hung up. Gu Yu continued to stare at his phone, his eyes full of wavering as he pursed his lips. Soon, he opened up Wu Yunrui’s contact and with a swipe of his fingertips, dialed a call to her.

“Do you have time? Let’s have a meal together.” His tone had returned to its usual gentleness.

Breaking up was a step that Gu Yu did not wish to take unless it was his last resort. Wu Yunrui had stayed and accompanied him through the bitter days, so even if he was a little bored of her, he still had some feelings for her.

Besides, her temperament was quite good and would follow his decisions on everything.

Having just barely mentioned it a few days ago and Wu Yunrui already completely lost her temper for the first time. Her whole body trembled with anger, and she smashed everything that could be smashed at home.

Then finally pointed at his nose and said, “If you still have a conscience, you’ll take that sentence back!”

So on one side, their reaction was intense, while on the other, Cen Simiao kept pressing him. In the end, he could only try his best to drag it out.

Using that sentence to block up Gu Yu that chatterbox, Cen Simiao kneaded her forehead and got ready to get up to pour a cup of coffee when she suddenly heard the sound of a text notification.

She instantly frowned. Then very impatiently, she brought it over to take a look and found that it was a message from Lu Mi.

It said that the plan was successful and that they should find a time to resign.

Cen Simiao lowered her eyelashes, pursed her lips, then began to type. She was going to wait a few days. Even though she had to leave, she still didn’t plan to leave while leaving behind infamy.

After all, having poached her family company’s core personnel to her own, it wouldn’t be a good thing for such a matter to reach the ears of outsiders.

She narrowed her eyes. Gu Yu should be quite experienced in bearing the blame by now?

And she took another look at the phone. It seems An Zeru really was ignoring her. Suddenly, WeChat updated with a new ‘moment’ that the other had posted. On a large round table, many dishes were placed. The photos were taken from a particularly attractive angle, and there were five or six people gathered around.

She took several glances, then her eyes landed on one of the girls.

Whom she had seen that night at the party.

Cen Simiao then went back to see what An Zeru had said in the post.

Her brows slightly rose. Did this count as being dumped?

An Zeru was celebrating with several people from his work studio over a meal at the house he had bought a while ago so that it would be more convenient getting to work

Xiao Suhan was just there to join in the fun.

She had been making a lot of noise lately. In one moment, she would rant that she was brokenhearted, but then in another, she would ask why no one loved her. Then in the middle of one night, with a stomach full of beer, she came to knock on his door.

Coincidentally running into him who was working overtime with some people from the studio.

Xiao Suhan just crouched at the door, wailing bitterly while still pouring a mouthful of wine into her mouth from time to time. “Why did he want to break up with me, wasn’t it just that my mother didn’t like him? But I like him!”

An Zeru kneaded his glabella as he thought: fortunately, there were only the finishing touches left regarding work. He dragged her to the bathroom, grabbed the bottle of alcohol from her, then splashed cold water on her face.
