2. Building A Dream Home

Tristan drives to nearest real estate agent in A-city. He has to visit three places before he finds the unit he likes.

It's a brand new apartment. Recently finished this year. The neighborhood isn't crowded yet. The area has been developed in the last three years. Less humans mean less zombies in the future.

He drives to a hardware store to buy some equipments. Water is polluted in those days. He is going to install purification system. He buys two large freezers and a large fridge to store foods.

There would be no electricity in the beginning of Apocalypse. He has bought solar panels and batteries as back up.

Planting veggies sounds good. He had done it in the past. Too bad he couldn't plant many in his small underground home. No sunlight prevented him from planting many types of veggies.

He spent half of his money on equipments. The later half would be used for foods, medicines and clothes.

Most of his clothes aren't better than rags in his latest days in Apocalypse era. When he thinks about it, he feels ashamed.

No wonder Ryan never looked at me. I must look like a beast dreaming to get a beauty.

Tristan likes men. He has known he is a gay since his high school days.

The package has arrived. He opens it. A crossbow and two quivers of arrows. He aims and shoots at the door. It strikes precisely.

He chuckles.
