Richard grits his teeth. He has hoped to find something valuable in the rooms. He never thought would find him.
Pop was always proud of him. The sixth son. He was a prodigy child. He became the youngest cadet who finished military academy with perfect marks.
Red eyes, pale skin, sharp teeth.
Unfortunately he wasn't a human anymore.
Blair takes a step forward but Richard pulls him back.
Richard orders, "Stay away from him! He's mine!"
Feng Liu. The pride of family.
The senior zombie roars loudly before he attacks Richard, his little brother.
Richard counterattacks with his military blade. His brother might be a zombie. He is still a tough fighter. Richard got kicked several times.
Blair wants to help.
Richard yells, "Stay away!"
He dodges a kick and slashes the leg. Black blood spurts out from the wound.
Richard grabs a pillow to defend against the zombie's claws. It got shredded easily.
Blair freezes the zombie's legs while yelling, "Stop being stubborn! Just kill him!"
Richard's eyes reddened. From all his brothers, Feng Liu was his idol. He grew up, wishing to surpass him. To kill someone you have idolized for life.
Zombies are moaning eeriely at the corridors. They are summoned to this place.
Blair curses and leaves the hotel room. Richard doesn't need his aid. He better kill off zombies outside first.
Richard dodges another attack.
Suddenly he got electrocuted. He collapses to his knees, panting. It's the first time he felt electrocution.
He sneers.
Feng Liu and him are very similar. Even their power is the same.
Another thunderbolt is going to strike him. Richard leaps away. His previous spot is scorched black.
"You called that Thunder? Try this one!"
Richard unleashes the greatest Thunder power he got. The electricity wave hits everywhere in the room. Destroying everything including the zombie. Turning him into burned charcoal.
He collapses on the floor.
Weeping for the death of his beloved brother.
Blair has taken care of the zombies outside. He takes a peek. He looks away.
All his life, he has seen Richard as an arrogant fellow with inflated ego. He never sees him so vulnerable like this. Like a lost child missing his old home. His happy life in the past.
The others have arrived.
Blair makes a hand signal to leave. The others nod their heads. They will ask later.
Blair fixes his glasses before he walks in. He hugs Richard and lets him cry on his shoulder. Even a tough guy needs someone to rely on.
"I killed him, Blair...my brother...."
"Not him. It's just a zombie. You killed a zombie."
"Don't leave me, Blair. If you had to become a zombie, bite me too. We'll be zombies together..."
"You silly oaf."
Richard cries for a whole hour before he finally sobs a little. He wipes away his tears.
