Tristan is looking out outdoors using binoculars. He picked it up during his latest travel in searching non-existent eyedrop drugs.

Gunfires are heard in certain intervals. The Army has been cleaning these neighborhoods lately.

Residents are asked to tie up a white cloth or item in front of their home if there is zombie lurking indoors or outdoors.

Sometimes a family couldn't kill a zombie because he/she used to be one of them. The soldiers would take care of the zombie problem.

A military truck passesby in the street.

A man speaks through the speaker, "Tomorrow morning at 10 AM. Families are required to go to City Square to register their homes."

Refugees kept coming in from other cities. They resolve problem in lack human resources to build ruined infrastructure. The base shall allocate new homes for them.

Tristan lowers down his binoculars. His electric stove has cooked the instant noodles. He munches happily.

This life is really better than his previous one.

Around this time of the year, he was running for his life. His neighbors and friends were eaten alive. He could save none of them.

He often got starved and could rely on scavenged foods from broken stores. He ate fresh grasses and leaves few times due starvation.

He enjoys a leisure life in home. Only watering his veggies and taking care the chickens.

Tristan squats down and puts an egg into an incubator machine. Hopefully this egg would hatch into a chick soon. He is no farmer. He doesn't know how long it would take.

He turns on his laptop to read a web novel. He falls asleep half way through.

A life as a salted fish (idle life) is his dream life.

Unfortunately it only takes a week to be bored to death.

Tristan stretches his body. He shouldn't be idle too long. The zombies would evolve into stronger beings after few months passed.

I need to practice. In this life, I'm still an ordinary being. Well, at least I could live better.

Tristan sighs. He looks around him. His home. He would fight to protect it.

It's still early in the next morning when Tristan strolls down the street. He is still looking for eyedrops in broken stores.

Actually he hasn't hoped much. He found nothing useful. All the stores have been plundered clean.

It's almost ten o'clock when he reaches City Square. He queues with other city residents.

A glasses guy nods his head and two soldiers immediately arrests Tristan. Blair walks away after seeing Axell's dreamboy. He has tons of works to do.

Tristan struggles but he got dragged away from the Square.

"Hey! Let me go! I'm innocent!"

The soldiers toss him into a back of truck. Another man has been tied up beside him.

Tristan yells, "It's you!"

"Hello," greets a man dressed like a beggar.

Tristan curses many times. His luck has been gone to drain since he met this f*cking businessman.

Axell hisses when he smiles. His chaffed lips is courtesy to Blair's handywork. He asked his secretary to punch him so it looked real.

Who knows he really punched him hard. Guess Blair has a secret grudge for all those overtime works.
