5) So, Who Do You Want In Your Class?

Time was passing quicker than our protagonist thought.

Nearly two months had passed like it was nothing for her and she was surprised at that. She hadn't noticed it until she had gotten a call from Nezu, asking if she was still going to watch the Entrance Exam from the spectators room. Her eyes had widened when he said that and looked on her calendar to see that it was indeed the 25th of February and the exams would be the next day.

She had agreed of course, but she was trying to figure where Time had gone. She had been doing a mix of things these days; hanging out with Momo, who acted very maturely for a girl her age, and sparring with her as well in the training room, drinking with Midnight whenever the older (younger?) pro hero needed to unwind, video games with Hizashi and seeing from afar how the training of the new successor of OFA was coming along. The last one was what she was really worried about.

Though she would admit the boy had gotten physically stronger, she could tell he wasn't physically ready (or mentally in her opinion) and boy, oh boy did the physically part show during the entrance exam.

She had tried to watch all of the students, but her eyes always found Midoriya whenever he showed up in a camera, looking lost and nervous as ever. She was visibly frustrated the entire time that he was making her job much harder than it needed to be. Just when she was on the verge of giving up on the boy, he hurdled through the air and punched a crater through the zero pointer, saving a girl with short brown hair in the process. Xia also took notice of her quirk as well, some type of gravity manipulation.

But her main focus was Midoriya and the fact that his arms and legs were flapping in the wind, and falling fast only to be saved by the girl with the gravity quirk.

'Well he can't control it, but he does have a heroes heart. I guess Toshinori got right kinda' she thought to herself that day, watching the boy be dragged off to Recovery Girl's office to get healed.

After that was the discussion a day later, which is where we pick up with our protagonist, who was in the room with the staff listening to them discuss the students who would be in the hero course and who would be suited for other courses or did not get in at all. The teachers in the room were all ones she had let in on the secret; Toshinori, Aizawa, Midnight, Present Mic, Nezu, Blood King, Snipe, Cementoss, Ectoplasm and Power Loader. Recovery Girl also knew the secret, but that was from her last life as the then younger healing hero had helped her with a job. Another story for another time. Thirteen and Hound Dog were on the list of who she would tell eventually as both also knew All Mights secret as well, but they were never present for her to talk to. If he could trust them, so could she, she supposed.

"We should split the recommendation students first. Can't all four of them in one class" Nezu said as he put all four applicant files on the desk in front of them, then looked towards Xia as she looked at them. "It's on you for "first dibs" as promised".

Looking at the files that she had already read a few times over. One of her choices was already clear, but the other three were more challenging.

First up was Setsuna Tokage, a girl with dark green eyes, the same color as her hair, long eyelashes and very pointed teeth. Quirk was called Lizard Tail Splitter, allows her body to split into pieces and move freely through the air. Can also regenerate if those prices are destroyed. Now THAT is impressive. A lot of practical uses for it on top of combat. Very hard for the pieces to be caught as they are very fast and mobile. It also doesn't hurt that all the papers said she was one of the smartest in her class and has very good leadership abilities. She wasn't the strongest, but she made up for it in every other category by a large margin. She was a very good contestant.

Next up was Juzo Honenuki, a boy with very large eyes and small pupils, ash blonde hair and teeth on the outside of his skin, making it seem like he has no lips. His quirk allows him to soften any non living thing he touches, making the ground quicksand for example. A very impressive quirk. According to the file, he is moderately strong, but his quirk is control is the second most proficient in this list, second to Setsuna (third in Xia's mind as she's been training up Momo to be better at using her quirk and her combat abilities). He also had amazing leadership capabilities, being an incredibly quick thinker with his and others quirks. A valuable asset both of those names were. But the last one was a name she was the most interested in out of the three.
