To say that the green haired OFA successor had improved was an understatement. He had made leaps and bounds in his quirk control. They were currently two weeks into this excursion and a little over a week since Izuku had gained proper control over OFA and he was putting his all into it. His current exercise was to see if he could weaponize the lightning aura surrounding him. It was a long shot idea, but he had been thinking about and relaying those thoughts to his teacher at every chance given, so she reluctantly agreed. Xia originally wanted to increase his percentage, and they were still doing that, but he was so adamant about this, she decided to let him get it out of his system so they could get back on track.

You might also be asking yourself how much can he currently output of OFA? Well the answer is exactly 10%. The reason for this is because Xia figured out the correct way to increase ones power was to put them in battle situations, so she had upped the difficulty in the training bots, to the level that she trains at. On top of her joining a few of the fights. She had him stay at his max output and push the limits in that way. It was proving to be effective and the boy was careful not to push himself too much over the limits except for the 3rd day when he went a little too far and dislocated his shoulder. Xia put it back, but it was a lesson that needed to be learned. The kid was growing at a great rate. If they continued like this, she figured she should have him at somewhere between 15-20% of the quirk by the time it was over.

Back with our young fledging hero-in-training, he was currently powered up with OFA Full Cowling, as he had taken to calling it, and facing the 10 targets in front of him, all varying in size. The pair was outside, on a course that immortal had set up for this specific purpose.

"Remember, focus on the aura around you. Feel the lightning in your body" she instructed him.

"I'm trying and it's not as easy as it looks" Izuku says back to her, sweat rolling down his forehead as he tries to control the lightning surrounding his body. "The mangas made this look easy!"

Xia rolled her eyes at this. A method he had been using was showing her some mangas he read as a means of showing her how it could be done. The only things was....

"I kept telling you not to compare your mangas to real life. Obvious that was fiction"

"And a world filled with superpowers doesn't seem fictitious to you?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at her, still maintaining his form.

"Don't be a smartass, I can still whoop your ass" she threatens, upset that she let herself fall for that obvious trap. Izuku just smirked before he went back to what he was doing.

As he was focusing his aura, Xia was watching him intently, and while doing this, she noticed some obvious changes to the boy. Like how it seemed as though he had gotten slightly taller than he previously was. Not a lot, just maybe like and inch or two, but it was noticeable enough for the immortal to comment on it the other day to him. Or the fact that he had taken to doing these training sessions shirtless, showing the girl just how fit he actually was. Xia knew he was fit, but seeing it out in the open like this, was truly something to behold. He was getting more chiseled as time passed working with her. His arms, while still lean, had much more definition to them. Izuku had taken to speed as much as he did power, so he decided to prioritize both on the same scale. She would be lying if she said she wasn't sneaking glances at his body whenever she got the chance, but she would always ignore that feeling she got whenever she looked at him. She had been through it plenty of times before already. It was those teenage emotions that were flaring up and she had been through that enough to know how that went in the long run. No she would ignore that at all costs.

Besides, there was something else that had more of her attention; the scars that littered his body. She was curious as to where they came from, but she had in the end chosen not to say anything about them. He seemed like he didn't want to talk about it either, so she wouldn't.
