17) Congrats, you suck

The two teams had just made their way back in to applause from the rest of the class. Bakugo was behind the pack for obvious reasons. He didn't feel like talking to anybody and no one really wanted to talk with him at the moment. While they couldn't hear what was happening, they could infer from what they saw and the blonde was clearly in some type of mental distress and needed to be by himself.

Xia didn't associate herself for the rest the class as she took the opportunity to see what the other students were working with. She needed a base if she really wanted to improve upon their skills.

The next match was starting and it involved two of her picks, Hagakure and Todoroki. Listening in, the villain team had a solid plan of using Hagakure to sneak up on them and capture them, while her partner holds steady by the bomb. Solid plan right?

Wrong. The first reason for failure would be that Shoji's quirk gives him enhanced hearing, so unless she was deathly quiet, he would hear. The second reason? Well, Todoroki froze the building, inside and out, without harming the bomb and waltzed his ass right on in. Anticlimactic? Yes. Efficient? Also yes. Stupid? Again, yes, since actually freezing a building with a nuke in it is not smart. Also, she was a little unnerved at the fact that Toru was going at it completely naked as her hero costume except for the gloves and boots, so that was gonna need to be something that got addressee ASAP.

Next up was Kirishima and Sero against Tokoyami and Tsu (as she had said to call her). An interesting matchup to say the least. While Tsu and her jumping ability was restricted because of the overwhelming amount of tape and Kirishima holding of Tokoyami's Dark Shadow, time elapsed and the villains won the battle. Teamwork training for those two would be in order.

Next was Kaminari and Jiro versus Yaoyorozu and Mineta. Unluckily for Momo, she got stuck with the perv, but she had already given the purple midget a warning, which he was so far heeding. Jiro's quirk was very good for recon and she had located the bomb already. Momo had sealed the room off and Mineta was waiting in hiding when they found the room to trap them. Pretty good plan that under your working very well for the villain team. She made a mental note to talk to Kaminari about the specifics on his quirk and see what she could do to help him improve it.

The last match involved Sir Sparkles and Big Mouth versus Candy Rush and the Mute. Nothing too spectacular there, as the hero team won that battle. Though a thing to note was that all four of them needed major work on a plethora of things so they're training sessions would be rigorous.

And now, the final event was on.

Xia was the villain.

"Ok! For the last match, young Xia will be taking on a total of four of you. Who would like to match up against her?"

Immediately, four hands she expected to be raised were. Katsuki Bakugo (who still looked a little downtrodden), Shoto Todoroki, Ejiro Kirishima, and Tenya Iida were the ones chosen. Her students had done the smart thing and decided to sit this one out for obvious reasons.

She made her way to the training grounds, but not before giving them a small smile and a last message.

"Be sure to give me a challenge. It'll be disappointing if none of you can make me use my quirk"

And she was off. And to say that the four were highly insulted was an understatement, but that was exactly what she needed. She needed to know all the things Todoroki could do with his ice (and fire), she wanted to see Bakugo's proficiency with his explosions since Izuku basically dispatched him quick, she wanted to see how sturdy Kirishima's defense was and she wanted to see how good Iida was utilizing combat and his speed. These four including Midoriya without a doubt had potential to be the best in class in Xia's mind.
