15) Prelude to an asswhooping

The class was at lunch, minus their new arrival, and they were still abuzz at the altercation they had witnessed earlier in the day.

Though they had only been around Bakugo for one day, they could clearly see that the guy was scarily intense. Yet Xia had come in and handled in with nothing but class, while also retaining that asshole like flair she liked to flaunt.

"But still, to just stand up to him like that was super brave" Toru said, taking a sip of her drink.

"Who do you think would win in the fight?" Mina asked, looking around the table at her classmates, who had all decided to sit together today.

"I don't wanna underestimate Xia, but we saw what Bakugo could do and how good he is with his quirk" Denki sweatdropped thinking about the test they had yesterday and how the boy was literally blowing up the field.

"Yeah Bakubro seems like he'd win, but it's not manly to count out people!" Kirishima added on, a slight grin as he thought about how strong Xia could be since she had basically been first in the quirk assessment.

"She said her powers were different psionic abilities. Those are really strong right?" Sato asked the crowd and a few of them with knowledge on the power nodded, but it was Momo who decided to make her voice heard.

"Bakugo won't win" she said matter of factly. The class only widened their eyes at her as she didn't even hesitate on the statement.

"You sound very confident in that answer Yaoyorozu-San. Ribbit" Tsu stated, which only made the raventte nod again as she sipped her tea.

"Because she helped trained me before the school year started. I know better than anybody, save for probably Midoriya, how good she is. Two hands behind her back is no problem for her" she said, and the whole class only turned to Midoriya, who was at the end of the table, eating his Katsudon. Bakugo, who was on the other end, only sneered at both of them as his anger was very clearly beginning to spike.

"Is that true Midoriya?" Mineta asked, him being the closest to the green haired boy.

"It is. She helped me get better with my quirk. If it wasn't for her, it probably would've taken me a longer time to learn how to work my quirk the right way. I can also confirm that she doesn't need her quirk to win" he said as he stares directly at the blonde at the other end, locking eyes with him, " I can tell it won't be a challenge for her".

"She sounds intense"

"More intense than Bakugo"

"And that's saying something"

Bakugo was barely holding it together, so before it got worse, he abruptly got up and made his way out of the cafeteria, needing somewhere to cool off.

Midoriya only shook his head at his ex-best friend and continued what he was doing, answering other questions sparingly about the mysterious new girl.

They would see soon enough exactly who she was.

The end of the day was fast approaching and they had one last class on the day. And their teacher was. The one and only....

"I AM HERE! COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"

Which was anything but normal.

That's right, the teacher for the last class was All Might himself, though Midoriya and Xia already knew this, while Momo had a feeling it was somebody big, judging by the words Xia had said earlier in the day, but not "All Might big".

"I am here to teach Basic Hero Training. Today, you'll be tested in something that, some of the time, is inevitable. Battle Training!"

The class was mostly shocked at that, but three faces in particular had grins on their faces, varying from a maniacal grin, one of confidence and one of pure cockiness. Pretty sure it won't be hard for you to figure out those faces.
