19) Confrontation at the USJ

The class was currently on their way to the USJ with Mr. Aizawa for rescue training with 13 and All Might. The class was jumping with excitement except for Bakugo, Todoroki, Xia and Toru. The four of them had many different thoughts running through their heads. Though the latter two were the ones that were the most interesting.

Xia was still trying to figure out what had happened last night. She knew what she saw, but why, was the question. She hadn't looked through Toru's thoughts like she had done a majority of the class, so she didn't know anything about the girls life, but she had done it this morning while they were waiting to board the bus.

Within her mindscape, was like nothing she had ever seen before. Half of it was covered in darkness, while the other half was so bright, she has cover her eyes from it. But there was something small, almost like a sliver. It was a clash of both sides, which seemed like a vortex that led to something deeper. She had wanted to search more, but then it felt like something or someone physically pulled her out.

When she came back, she saw Toru looking around in worry, trying to figure out what the feeling she just felt was.

Now on the bus, she had to figure out a way to talk to Toru while also holding off a villain attack, if what Toru told the mist man from last night was true.

'The hell? Of course it's true! You've been at this for how long now Xia? When did you suddenly start seeing shit? Why is this surprising?

And that thought all but seemed to pull her out of whatever mental break she was on. Focusing back onto the class, seeing Tsu look back towards her.

"That reminds me of something. Xia, why haven't you shown what your quirk can do yet?" Tsu asked, making Xia smirk a little at the inquisitive frog girl.

"Where's the fun in that? If you don't know, then either two things will happen when you face me. You'll go all out of you'll underestimate me. Both are statistically dumb things to do" she answers, making the entire bus look back to her.

"And why's that?" Todoroki asks, shocking the majority of the people on the bus that he actually decided to speak.

"Because at the end of the day we're competing to see who's the best? I told you what I can do yes, but I didn't show it because if you know how strong I am, you'll try to catch up or slow down when you should just be getting better" she answered, confusing majority of the bus besides Momo, Izuku and Aizawa.

"You make it sound like we're not even close to you" Todoroki said with a clipped tone of voice.

"Considering I didn't need to use my powers of four the strongest in this class, I'd say that's warranted. Besides, the only ones who can keep up with mr and make me use my powers are Izuku, Momo and Toru and maybe Mina since her acid can secrete from her entire body if she wants it to" Mina perked up hearing her name, but majority were confused on why Xia named Toru as a person that could take her on.

"The hell?! You think invisi-bitch is above us!" Bakugo shouts, being ignored by the bus as they continue to look at the brunette in the back of the bus.

"Why Toru-chan?" Tsu asks.

Xia looks directly at Toru, seeing the slightest shake in demeanor from the invisible girl while smirking. "I'm not stupid. I can tell when somebodies holding back. Even if they are invisible". 'And I don't appreciate a traitor among my class'

Toru's eyes widen as that last part is directed straight into her thoughts and realization hits her as she continues to hold the immortals stare. Before the tension can be addressed by the class however, Aizawa speaks up.

"Alright, calm down! We're here" he says as he gets off the bus first and the rest of the class minus Xia and Toru get off. Xia waits a few seconds before getting up and standing next to Toru as she looks down at the girl and stares directly where she thinks her eyes are.
