Xia sighed audibly frowning at the girls words. "You really need to have that talk with your parents, you know that right?"
"We both know how tough that is" the younger girl responded, smiling sadly from her spot in the couch as she eats her bowl of cereal.
"Yeah I guess you're right about that"
Momo told Xia around the time they first started hanging out that her parents had a clear plan for their daughter. She next in line to take over the family business and she was being primed to take over. The only problem was that the girl didn't want it. She wanted to be a hero more than anything, one of the reasons the immortal decided to really train her. She had told Momo a little white lie, saying that she was basically in the same predicament. Which wasn't a lie, because she was. However it was a predicament the immortal out herself into to comply with how she wanted this lifetime to go. It was something she had done in previous in lifetimes, and though it was a mental burden on her, it was one she put on herself, so she had to persevere through it.
Another thought had also went through the immortals mind this whole time. It was wether or not she was going to include Momo within her circle of trust. It seemed like an obvious choice and Momo seemed like a beyond loyal girl who would take that secret to the grave, but she had been burned before by somebody she thought was trustworthy. But as all things went, if you hesitated through your decisions in life, it would only bring less than desirable results throughout your life.
"Momo? When I get back tomorrow, we have to have a long talk" Xia says, going out to the training center to check on her trainee.
"About what? Sounds serious" Momo replies, raising an eyebrow at the tone of her friends voice.
"It is. That's all I can say at the moment but I'll explain it in detail when we see each other yeah? I gotta go now, but I'll see you. And make sure those contractors don't get cute with my stuff?" She says hanging up after an exchange of goodbyes with the black haired heiress.
Going into the training ground. She sees the greenette with his shirt off and practicing his fighting style with the robots. As one comes towards him, he takes his lightning and throws it at the bot, making it short circuit as it falls to the ground, obsolete.
"Please stop breaking my machines please? These things aren't cheap" Xia sweatdrops, seeing a bunch of fallen robots before her.
"Sorry! I was too into it" he apologizes quickly, his voice holding a little nervousness. Like it has been for the last few days.
