Boscha's POV

*flashback*

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked the girl in front of me.

It happened long before I met Amity.

The girl took my hands into hers and stared at me while blushing. I wasn't sure why.

"Boscha, listen... I love you." She confessed.

I was shocked, I didn't know how to process this unusual confession. I thought it was strange at first... for two girls to be doing this. But I started liking it more and more, day by day.

She graduated junior high before me, and we started seeing each other less and less. Sometimes, we wouldn't see each other for days, or even weeks. But I believed that she felt just as lonely as I did.

"Hey!" I ran up to her and held her by her shoulders.

"Uh... Right...." She mumbled.

"Is something wrong?" I asked her. She seemed bothered.

"Boscha, listen... We're not kids anymore. We shouldn't be playing around like this." She gently removed my hand from her shoulders, "I think it was just a phase. We're both girls, you know?" She smiled, not realizing how much her words were hurting me.

My hands dropped on my sides. It felt like my heart had been ripped apart in a matter of seconds.

She's the one who made me like this. I thought I'd forget about it all. I thought I'd also be able to call it "just a phase". That's what I thought.

*end of flashback*

Luz's POV

"We'll have another quiz this week." The teacher announced. Everyone in the class whined.

"Haven't they been a bit too hard lately?" One of the boys asked.

"I am determined to break Amity and Boscha's perfect score streak once and for all." The teacher said as he crossed his arms.

"Don't drag us into this!" The boy yelled.

The class has now ended and I was standing in front of Willow's desk. 

"So, what kind of person is Amity?" Willow asked.

My face tensed up. 

"Well..." I paused and thought about it for a while, "Where exactly are you going with this?"

"I've never written a script for a play before, so I need some inspiration." She said as she sat her head on her desk, "I thought I'd start by looking at what the actors are like. You know, like writing the role for the actor." She said.

"Right..." I trailed off.

"So, what's she like?" Willow asked again.

"Amity is... well, exactly what people say." I said, trying not to give away too much.

"Good at sports and studying, sociable, and trusted by everyone?" She asked.

"Yeah, pretty much." I said as my eyes slightly averted to the side.

Willow paused for a second, "She's so perfect she's boring."

Well, if you don't know Amity very well, Willow does kind of have a point.

"Well, there's not much I can do about that..." I nervously smiled.

"It's easier to create a story about someone with flaws. Can't you think of anything?" Willow asked.
