Kaito walked out of school to see Maki waiting for him.
"Sorry I'm late." He said and they began walking to his house. They had a conversation about cats since they saw one sleeping on top of a car. After an awkward silence Maki sighed. She shouldn't make assumptions about people everyday.
"Kaito, are we on good terms?"
"Yeah! Of course we are! Why do you ask?"
"I don't know. Its just, I make assumptions about people and I always thought you were an idiot, well, I mean, I still think you are but you're not as bad as I thought"

"I brought the felt, are these the colours you need?" Maki said, pulling art supplies out of her bag.
"Yeah that stuff is good. You know, Maki I think we're gonna have the best project!"
"Yeah, I think so too. But don't get too friendly with me, OK?"
"OK, whatever you say."
They finished the project.
"I think it looks good Maki! Don't you?"
