Air chase

Heichou was fast in the air, his agility was surprising it seemed inhuman, it was surprising for what even he was

Heichou flew higher and higher, and Horus followed, using his powers to his advantage, but even his powers were nullified by how high they were. The air grew thinner and Horus didn't have a breathing respirator

He was struggling to fly, when he felt something hit his ribs

'Focus on flying in a straight line, you're flying like how I walk while drunk' Evelyn said as she took out a spare breathing respirator 'the oxygen tanks can't last forever, and they're single tank masks. He needs to swap over the tanks soon'

Horus nodded as he flew close to the ground, Evelyn following and heichou landing a few buildings over

Horus was signing to Evelyn, after the X virus happened, everyone knew sign to avoid talking, so it was convenient for deaf and mute people

'I don't think you really need to know who I am yet. But I am just your typical druggie who has powers, I'm not part of the resistance, like you are' Evelyn explained as she attached the mask to an oxygen tank and gave it to Horus 'yes. I know about the resistance, but don't worry, I won't tell anyone'

Horus put the oxygen tanks on his back and secured the mask over his face 'are you from around here?' He signed

'Yes. I live in the suburbs at the edge of the city. I live there with my sister, and a few friends. We have been living here for 3 years now. We should start flying soon' Evelyn said. She was vague at most things

Heichou started flying again

'let's go!' Evelyn shouted as she jumped off the edge of the rooftop they had landed on

Heichou turned around, flying backwards.
'Damn resistance' he groaned as he aimed a shotgun at Horus. Neither of them had realized Heichou was armed.

Evelyn grabbed Horus and flew towards the ground 'He's got a gun!' Evelyn shouted in fear

They flew back to the airport, where horus' siblings were waiting.

'Let's get out of here!' Bastet said
The others didn't object, but Evelyn stood there quietly, as she took off the breathing respirator
'I want to help' she exclaimed 'there's a coffee shop on the edge of the suburbs, can we meet there tomorrow so I can tell you all my plans! I may not look like it, I'm a druggie after all, but I'm smart, I'm good at planning!'

Horus looked at his siblings and uncle, who all nodded their heads before signing 'sure. I take it you're going home now' he signed to the girl as he returned the breathing respirator and oxygen tanks to her
'Yes, Nee will get worried if I spend more time out of the house then both of us anticipated'

'Who is she?' Bastet asked Horus in confusion
'She told me she's just your typical druggie with powers' he sighed 'she's very vague about everything, so we can't expect much from her'

Anubis looked at horus confused 'so we are meeting her at a coffee shop just outside of the city? So if she is a shapeshifter, she can't attack without being seen'

'You're correct, but who's to say that she won't care, and just attack' Seth asked

'She could attack' a person said as she took her hood off and revealed a bird mask 'but at the same time she doesn't attack as you do'

'Raja-ankh-yunet?' Horus questioned

'Did you miss me?'
