Evelyn was a mysterious girl, they didn't know much about her. Only she was a 23 year old druggie alcoholic, she was a mechanic, from her drunken chats they could gather she had a twin brother and an older brother, they already knew she had one younger sister, Nina.
They didn't know the one thing required- her intentions. She's known to be quiet, and for everyone in the resistance, or the group fighting the demons, the demons have done something to hurt them

Venice thought about this as she sat on the edge of the rooftop. She queried on who Evelyn actually was. She will admit, she never liked Evelyn, she always felt suspicious of her

Something halted her thoughts all together, a foot on her back, pushing her over. She almost fell to the floor, She would have, if seth wasn't looking out of a window and caught her, and he pulled her inside

"What the hell happened?" Seth questioned the kid, as she hugged him tightly

"Someone pushes me off the roof!" She exclaimed

Seth was really concerned, and he knew she wasn't lying. Venice is almost always quiet and reserved, only showing other emotions when she felt safe, which was understandable, as her brother was killed when she showed too much trust in people

Seth picked up the small girl and walked out of the room, where in the main room, Llunina was reading. She looked up and put down the book to rush to her daughter

"What happened?" She asked as she took venice from Seth

"Apparently she got shoved off of the roof"

Horus looked around the room
"Everyone is here except for the mages, who are at rajas home, but they don't like the cold so it wouldn't be them, and Evelyn, but as far as I'm aware, Evelyn's at home"

Alexsis sat up
"Then it would be Evelyn, right?"

Bastet shrugged
"It's entirely possible but we shouldn't be passing blame to others. Y'know?"

Llunina sat down and writed everyone's name in order of height and crossed out the obvious ones, that left them with only a few names

"They had to be tall, like almost 6ft or above

That only left Orson, Vanta and Evelyn.

"We can call Raja, to confirm where they all were, if need be" Raeline suggested

Seth agreed, They asked for horus' phone, as Horus had Rajas number saved, while Seth didn't even bother to save her phone number

Horus threw Seth his phone, and Seth caught it, and he called Raja

"Raja ankh yunet?"

"Seth? What's wrong?"

"Did anyone leave your house at all today?"

"Uhhh, yeah. The kids. Anu and Sereph went to go see a movie and get snacks, but that's all. They only went to the movie theater that's across the street, then they went for a shopping spree afterwards, in the high street, why?"

"Venice. Remember her?"

"Yeah, The red and brown haired kid? With the triangle in her right eye?"

"Yeah. She got pushed off of the roof by someone around 6ft or taller. Our only left suspects are Orson, Vanta and Evelyn"

Raja stayed quiet for a few seconds and she talked to Orson, who was in the same room as her

"Orson has been helping me with schoolwork, all day. Vanta is up in their room, probably playing videogames with Scarus. And it's not like Vanta snuck out, Scarus has even confirmed Vanta has been with him all day, and me and Orson have always been in the same room"

Seth hung up the call
"Did anyone bother to save Evelyn's phone number?"

Horus shook his head, and Anubis shook his head too

Bastet unlocked her phone and handed it to Seth
"Yeah, But sometimes Nina uses her phone as well"

Seth called Evelyn's number, and an unfamiliar voice answered

"Yea?"

"Who's this?"

"Nina. Evelyn's younger sister"

"Do you know where Evelyn is?"

"She's been asleep for a few hours. Kinda got too drunk last night and passed out. I can meet up with you, if you'd like"

"Sure, if that's possible"

"I will warn you, I'm not the prettiest face" she said as she hung up

Seth explained Nina had told him, as he got his jacket and gave back Horus and bastets phones and ran out the door and to Evelyn's property, to see a white haired girl at the door
