V POV

Jin treated JKs wounds and was now washing off. I never left JKs side during the whole process. I was so worried. All I could think about was whether or not JK would wake up or not. I was holding onto JKs colder and pale hands. Please be alright...

"A little rest and he'll be okay. How about I help treat some of those scratches?" Jin says walking into the room with another medicine kit.

Jin brought a chair and sat next to me while he disinfected the scratches starting with my arms.

"So... what... what happened?" Jin asks.

"Well.. I guess I can't really hide anything since you've already seen it." I say looking down at my hands. "This is JK and my names V. We aren't your typical normal human being."
I suddenly flinched to the sting of the wounds.

"We were actually test subjects in a lab but we escaped. Now there are enemies after us and as you can tell we only barely made it out." I explain.

"Oh you poor souls. Don't worry, how about you guys stay with me for the time being? At least until you both have recovered." Jin offers.

I glance down at JK. He was still not awake yet. I guess staying here for a little while wouldn't hurt.

"Okay... thank you." I say.

"I live here with my husband but he'll be home later. He is currently hunting for some food to eat for dinner. His name is Namjoon and he is a very kind guy so don't be afraid when he comes in." Jin says giving me a soft smile finishing off with bandaging my wounds.

"How about I make you something to eat?" He asks and I nod. Jin gets up and walks out the room. I quickly lie down next to JK on the bed, being careful not to put any pressure on his wounds.

"JK please be okay" I whisper into his ear and hug him as tears stream down my face.

"Don't cry..." I hand was wiping the tears. A hand?

I looked up to be met with JKs eyes. My eyes widen and I quickly sit up. "You're awake?"

Was it luck? A miracle? I was so happy.

"Where are we now?" JK asks.

"This is Jin's place. We only barely made it out there. I thought you left me JK. Don't scare me like that ever again. Anyways, after we managed to get out, I carried you to a safer area where I landed. That's when Jin came and he offered to treat your wounds. He saw your wings and knows a little about our past." I say as JK nods taking in the information.

"I missed you" I say and JK opens his arms up for me to hug him.

"Me too."

"Jin offered to let us stay here until we are completely healed." I say.

"Yup that's right!" Jin says walking into the room. "Hi! I'm Kim SeokJin but you can call me Jin. How are you feeling now JK."

JKs poker face takes over his features. Knowing him he's not that comfortable with strangers. "I think he's fine" I respond for JK.

Jin nods and places a plate of apple slices on the bed for us. Do you think he poisoned them? I just stared at the plate not knowing if I should take one or not.

"Don't worry I didn't poison them or anything" Jin says eating a slice. Once I saw him eat one I was relieved. Both JK and I inhaled the plate of apples in less then a second.

"Uhh... I see you two are hungry." Jin says with wide eyes.

"More?" I ask holding the plate out to him. Jin grabs the plate and walks out the room.

"Is your wing ok?" I ask JK.

JK lifts his wing that now had a bandage around it. He moved his wing up and down.

"I think it's okay. I don't know if it will fly properly though." JK says. I wasn't that surprised that it was already healed as we heal pretty quickly. The ability really helps us.

"Oh yeah! I got a new ability!" I say to JK.

"What is it?" He asks.

"When I was trying to free you from the foxes grabbing you, I got really mad and scared that I started yelling. My scream was so loud that all the foxes started clutching their ears." I explain waving my hands in the air trying to display what happened.

"Thanks..." JK says and I smile.

"I would never leave you" I say.

"I should try flying again, let's head outside." JK says standing up. I nod "maybe I can show you my new ability!"

Both JK and I walk outside the room. The house was nice. It was a small wooden cabin but decorated very rich. Once we walked out of the room we were met with the living room. There were two single couches facing a fireplace. There were several picture frames sitting on top of the fireplace. The carpet was very soft and furry.

"You two should be in bed resting!" Jin's voice could be heard. I turned my head to see Jin holding another plate of apple slices.

"We have already healed" I tell Jin while taking off my bandages to show him my arm without any wounds.

"How is that even scientifically possible?" Jin mutters.

"What's all the noise over here?" Another voice was heard.

"Oh Namjoon this is what I have been telling you about." Jin says as a tall man walked into the room. He was still wearing his hunting gear and held a large gun in his hand.

I backed away frightened. He's gonna kill us.

"Oh don't worry the safety button is on. This gun won't shoot and anyways I wouldn't shoot you two. My names Namjoon. Are you guys hungry? I just came home from hunting." He offers.

"Yes they will be staying I don't care. I'm cooking dinner for you two whether you like it or not." Jin says crossing his arms. "Also where do you think you two are going?" Jin points his index finger to JK then me.

"Uhh JK we were just going out to fly for a bit. Don't worry we will comeback." I say.

"And you didn't even bother to invite us to come see? Tsk I'm offended." Jin says chat bing his jacket off the coat hanger and walking towards the door. "What are you waiting for? Let's head outside!"
