Overslept

JIMIN POV

Did I ever mention how hard it is to live outdoors in the wilderness? Well, I'm here to say it again. Its been nearly a week. We had to ditch the truck three days ago and start backpacking as the road just ended. My legs felt like jello, I was basically a walking corpse. Night-time stargazing was great and all but the further we got deeper into the forest the more I looked like a 3-star Michelin meal to all those starving insects. (Cooking like a chef, Im a 5 star Michelin... SORRY)

On the morning of our eighth night sleeping in the wilderness, we finally found a little something. That thing was actually a dark cloud of smoke coming out from a large concrete building... that is, on the mountain across from us.

"Hey guys? You see what I see right?" I ask

I looked over at Jin and Namjoon who were also looking at that direction, answering my own question.

"It would probably take us all day to get there" Namjoon said.

"That is IF we don't run into any obstacles" Jin added.

"Well what are we waiting for then... let's go." I say before walking further into the forest towards the building.

The sky was now a dark shade of blue as the sun had already set and stars had littered the sky. Jin, Namjoon and I had successfully reached the building without losing a limb. Now that we were actually here, we had no idea what to do. We didn't really have anything with us and we didn't even know if this was for sure the place that V, JK and the twins were held captive.

"So... What should we do now?" Jin asked. He was seated under a tree and looked exhausted from all that travelling. After seeing Jin so exhausted it felt like fatigue just overcame me as well. My legs started to shake and I just took a seat next to Jin.

"I... don't know.." I mumbled.

I looked up at the tall concrete wall that was preventing us from seeing anything inside. We didn't know how big the building was and we didn't know how we would even get in as there was no door in sight, at least where we stood.

"Maybe we can try and see if there's a door on the other side?" I suggest.

"So your plan is to walk right in and ask the guy if you happened to be keeping or maybe torturing these kids with wings?!?!" Jin was frustrated.

I couldn't even blame him. We walked for a long time without rest. He was probably angry and tired.

"How about we just rest for the night and try the next day?" I finally decide. I all honesty, I did not want to wait. JK, V, Suno and Sato could probably be getting tested on and I didn't want that to last as long as it already has. However, I needed to pay mind with how Jin and Namjoon were feeling. After all, they helped me get here and I don't think I can do anything by myself.

Jin and Namjoon nodded before getting ready to sleep. The three of us just took a tree and leaned against it before drifting off into a deep slumber.
