V lifted me up and once again we were flying high in the sky. Being up and in the air really helped calm me down even though I knew I had a lot to worry about.
So much happened in just one night. I lost everything, except Namjoon. I no longer had a home and as much as I wanted to blame it on the four of them, I couldn't. I myself knew it wasn't their fault. I'm sure they are swimming in guilt now and are trying to think of how to repay us. Im just glad they didn't leave us.
I took a deep breathe and just admired the scenery. There were mountains and forest everywhere. The sun shown brightly but V's body and wings gave me shade so it wasn't too hot. I watched as the twins flew and occasionally do a flip or spin in the air.
I was amazed at how much control they had over their wings already. Well I guess it's a part of them.
Thinking back, those foxes which I assume were what V and JK referred to as their enemies were terrifying. I can't even imagine how it would be like fighting against one. I had no idea such vicious creatures existed.
"V? Were those the enemies after you?" I asked.
V looked down at me and then back up.
"Yes those are the foxes. They are kinda like us except reversed. JK, Suno, Sato and I were all injected with different types of animal DNA while the foxes were injected with human DNA. They seem to be the only other successful test subjects Appa has had." V explained and all I could think about was how cruel this Appa is.
"Jin, we are sorry for everything. Please, we promise we will repay you back somehow. Just give us some time." V then says.
"Haha don't worry about it... it's in the past now, let's just look forward to the future." I say trying to lighten the mood.
V just looks down at me and smiles. It wasn't a really smile because I could tell from the look in his eyes but I just let it go.
"Let's take a break over there." JK says pointing at a small stream.
We all landed safely. Namjoon and I went to drink some of the water while JK and V were discussing something.
"LOOK WHAT WE GOT" Sato suddenly yelled out.
"V! JK! LOOK!" Suno yells.
V and JK snap there heads towards the twins.
Namjoon and I just watched as JK and V walked towards the twins who were carrying some ducklings. The mother duck was seated on a rock nearby as she watched the twins play with the little ducklings.
V and JK squat next to each other. I watched as V laughed after putting a duckling on top of JK's head. They looked happy.
